Location is perfect in the middle of a lot of the history. We walked everywhere from our hotel the longest walk was the Vatican City which was about 40mins or so. The hotel itself is run by one man who I believe does a majority of the work and is also working a hotel on the second floor maybe also the other floors. The other workers were never around so if you need something you need to go look for one man. Breakfast, average but it started the day off and it is put outside your door to be eaten on the dining balcony, kitchen or your room. The main thing that I scored low on is the beds. We found them solid and the pillows firm. After one day myself and my partners necks were saw and we had to stay six nights which did not help. Friendly enough cleaner and good location that's all
Hidden gem in the heart of Rome. Clean, modern rooms. Depending on the floor and location you may actually see the Colosseum from your room. The front door of the hotel is just a buzzer-button at street level. But when you take the lift up, there is a reception with helpful staff, a breakfast area and so on. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and they even offer to bring it up to your room at a requested time in the morning. Rooms at the top floor have access to a kitchen patio with a view of the Colosseum, and you may have your breakfast there if you like. We arrived with a couple of kids, one 2 year old. After the day of room cleaning, we arrived back at the room to a brand new child crib that was set up. I can't really think of anything negative. This isn't a hotel that has a swimming pool, a gym and the like. But if that's not something you need, this place is great. I would stay again.
We came to Rome for my Birthday & our Anniversary staying here for 5 nights. The whole place is immaculate & beautiful especially the roof terrace where you can see the Colloseum & ruins. The staff are polite & helpful, they even left us a bottle of wine & sweets for my Birthday. It's in a fab location, we couldn't fault it.
Colosseo in is a small hotell in a building with several other hotels / suites. The reception and the rooms are on different levels. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is new renovated and are held in modern style and colour. It's quiet but central - 3 minutes walk from Colosseum and the metro.
It was a very clean place, great location, and nice staff. For those driving, this is a red zone and you cannot drive into the street or you may be ticketed. It's close to the colosseum, about a 10-15 min walk. It's about a 50 min drive from the airport. Coffee and apples are there throughout the day which is a nice touch. The breakfast was delivered to our room every morning with croissants, cheese, yogurt, etc and it was adequate. The view from the terrace was stunning, catch a sunset if you can.The only thing was the wifi in our room did not work as well there was no phone in our room and when we inquired about the phone, we were told that it must have not worked and has not been replaced.
Colosseo in is a great place with excellent location. We stayed there in the middle of May and I can say that it was the cleanest, spotless place we stayed in Europe, not even a smallest spot of dust (I checked all "hard to reach" places:) Janine is a great host who greeted us on the day of arrival and took her time to answer all our questions. Coffee and small snacks provided, kettle in the room for tea, fast wifi, safe in the room. Thank you for a great stay! would definitely recommend this place !
5 חדרים בקומה חמישית עם מרפסת משותפת המשקיפה על הקולוסאום נשנושים בחדר קומקום ומכונ ת קפה חפשי במזדרון five rooms on fifth floor joint balcony overlooking the colosseom ,in the room kettle and things to nosh,in the corridor coffee machine ,facility very clean ,friendly.
Perfectly clean, quiet guest house. Comfortable bed, suitably sized room, spotless bathroom with plenty of towels. There are kettle in the room and coffee machine in corridor. Coffee, water and snacks are supplied every day. Kitchen with microwave oven and toaster can be used for breakfasts, all day long access to the terrace. The only minus for those who do not use AC and prefer to sleep with open windows is noise from the busy street. If you would like to eat italian food with italian people then you will find few restaurants, breakfast points and gelateries on enclosed streets via panisperma and serpenti. We walked to the all attractions. Most of them are in 10- 20 min walk and it takes about 30-40 min to get to the Vatican and Villa Borgheze.
Please look no further than the Colosseoin. It is in a fantastic location with a view from the window onto the main street where there is always something happening. Shut the windows and there is absolute quiet for sleeping. The terrace has views of the Colosseum and its fantastic to just sit and relax and soak in the view. Janine, the owner, speaks perfect English and her hospitality is amazing. She will go out of her way to help with tours, taxis etc. She organised a fantastic pushbike ride through all the backstreets for us to show us the best of Rome without the typical tourist bus. I will remember my stay in Rome forever thanks to her hospitality. She also organised and paid for a tour on our behalf of a tour of the Sistine Chapel with no wait on our return before our flight home. The rooms are amazingly clean and comfortable. The expresso coffee is fantastic too! Its just perfect. Lastly Janine organized a taxi to pick us up and transport us to the train station for our trip to the Amalfi Coast. Nothing is too much trouble for her.
This is the perfect B&B, very clean with modern interior and appliances. Location cannot be better, just a short walk to the forum and coliseum. Janine is the best host ever, very warm, genuinely kind and helpful and attentive to details. My daughters and I really felt at home. Thank you so much for all the nice attentions. We especially enjoyed the first breakfast upon arrival on the little terrace overlooking the coliseum and splendid view of the sunrise on the city roofs. We hope to come back soon !
