Excellent hotel. We stay at the Rock Hill Hampton every time we travel to Florida and back. Always excellent. Clean, great breakfast, great area. This year on our way home the hotel was completely booked, so we went a few miles further up the road to another Hampton...never again! Didn't even compare! From now on we are only staying at the Rock Hill Hampton Inn.

The tile in the hallway and bathroom was very sticky. Hated that. The bed? H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E. Couldn’t sleep for more than two hours on it, even after lining up the four pillows and buying a mattress liner and doubling that on top of the pillows! Just awful! I described it as a broken piece of plywood with huge globs of dried glue on it. The public areas were clean, the breakfast was okay (don’t try the individually wrapped cream cheese danish unless you enjoy the flavor of cardboard) but the yogurt was CBN old and in date, milk too. Didn’t interact much with staff, so I guess they were okay. Could have dressed more professionally for front desk staff.

the breakfast was very good. i very much enjoyed the selection of berries. most enjoyable. the floor areas everywhere we went had bits all around edges. fluff, paper and whatever else. it all just gave a tired appearance to the property
