Awesome Stay

The property is located in a charming historic neighborhood, conveniently close to my nephew’s graduation venue, my brother’s home, and a variety of local restaurants. The house itself was beautifully furnished with antiques and surrounded by well-maintained landscaping. The comfortable furniture was especially suitable for my elderly parents, making it feel like home. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend this place.

Was in town for a medical procedure

In town to donate a kidney, had to stay nearby since we live so far away. The house was cute, very comfortable, the only thing was the house did have a thrift store like smell to it ( im sure from just being closed up)House was clean, everything we needed was there, and it was a much better choice than a hotel. Price was pretty good as well. Very easy to get to Mayo, quiet neighborhood.

A Comfortable and Charming Home and Host

Jane is a stellar and welcoming host and has the home equipped with all the things you could ever need. My husband had heart surgery at Mayo and the home is just a few short blocks to St. Mary's. He was very comfortable recovering in Jane's home and we actually found it difficult to leave such a warm home and amazing community.

Comfortable and homey

This was a very nice spot to stay for a little over a week in Rochester. I was recovering from a surgery and my mother and husband were with me. It is a quiet neighborhood, nice for taking walks. Also lovely back deck for reading, relaxing and meals. Kitchen is well equipped. I appreciated bedroom and bathroom on first floor and also the multiple recliners. Also quick access to downtown (car or on foot) and Mayo Clinic. Nice location and very comfortable home to call a second home.

Perfect home for surgery recovery

We could not have found a better place to stay following hip replacement surgery. Jane, the host, is wonderful - extremely responsive, kind and helpful. The home is very clean and has accessibility upgrades that made our stay easier. Convenient to Mayo Clinic. We can not say enough good things!

Comfy place in great location near Mayo

A cozy house with a great location near downtown and Mayo hospital. The house was super well stocked-pretty much like walking into your own house but being in Rochester. The host said to use anything needed that was in the house which was very gracious. The off street parking was great and an easy walk in to the back door w no steps. The main bedroom is on the ground level and appeared to be wheelchair accessible with lots of grab bars and wide doors. There was also a full laundry room right off the main bedroom. We used the family room a lot to relax and watch tv in. And then there are two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs for the rest of the family. We were able to walk to Mayo appointments although there are naturally plenty of parking garages there. It was about a 15 minute walk and fairly hilly. It is a very short drive to the hospital. There was a well thought out notebook from the host with lots of info in it. Based on info in the book we ended up going to the historical museum and farmstead one day and also toured Mayowood-both very interesting regarding the history of Mayo. This is an old home that has been well maintained. The owners parents who lived there must have been interesting and well traveled folks as there was lots of interesting art and collections in the house and we were visited by an itsy bitsy dog from next door who used to visit the house owner.

Vintage Clean Pill Hill Home

This home was very clean with a quiet and convenient location to Mayo. Owner lives there part of the year, so many amenities available to use. Convenient master bedroom on the main level. Seven tenths of a mile walk to the Charlton building, safe, not too far, good exercise and avoid parking fees.

Mayo Medical Trip

The house could not have been more comfortable and accommodating. The proximity to the clinic was within minutes and easy to walk there or anywhere in downtown Rochester. The property manager was very responsive and willing to do whatever to make our stay comfortable.
