Should have known when we walked in to the lobby. Appearance worn & shabby. Room in similar condition. Had pet friendly room so maybe that was the reason room was old looking, dark, and very unpleasant. Furniture, what there was of it, was old & worn out or cobbed together - bedside tables were ply wood enclosure of a drawer painted and nailed to wall. Bed linens also old and worn with multi pulls on “bedspread”. Towels dingy. That’s only the beginning. Room also on the second floor with no elevator. I took one look around and said I couldn’t stay there. I started making arrangements for a new place to stay and my husband went to cancel our reservations. He was offered a different room (which wouldn’t have been hard because there wasn’t anyone else there) but we declined figuring it wasn’t going to be much better than this. My husband was told the manager would have to return our money later when he came in. Went back the next morning and the same desk clerk was there. He said he would give us a new receipt, which he did, with a zero balance - but most of the printing was unreadable because printer needed ink. We were lead to believe everything was taken care of. That was Christmas Day. The next day we checked and found that they had charged our credit card for the full 4 days plus pet fees!! Still trying to get that straightened out. Beware! If you are thinking of staying here, check the room before paying! Surprised Orbitz advertises for this hotel.

The covers were nasty when I called the front desk the room phone didn’t work then I walked in the front desk nobody was there wish I could’ve gotten my money back worst place I ever paid to stay

The staff was horrible, the place felt run down and creepy. Our kids started crying as soon as we walked in the room, stating that they felt uncomfortable and unsafe there so after about 10 minutes we went down to our vehicle and started calling other places to stay. The man at the front desk was horribly rude when we tried to leave and never bothered to check us out. Nightmare!!

Dirty rooms no coffee and noise all night. I would like to get a refund for this as it had to be the worst room I stayed in.

Visiting colleges with my daughter. Close to town. Lots of restaurants and places to shop. Great location. Easy in and out of the hotel.

The office took a little bit of time looking up my reservation and providing me with the room access card. I found the room very clean. The outside garbage container near the stairs to my room was full the day I checked in and was the same the following day. It worked for me for the one night I stayed.

The room was approx. 8x10. The faucets were loose n detachable. Continental breakfast was for 1 hour and the cost was that of a higher end hotel and the bed was hard. I would mind this set up if I hadn't paid so much money on a week night. Not very impressive.

We were just in town for one night and the Econo lodge fit our needs. Good price, great location. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was better than I expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Slept one night (had prepaid with no place else booked). Got up and out as soon as possible to find another hotel. Dirty.

The outside of the hotel is in need of cleaning up and repairs. The rooms were not clean; appeared to not have been dusted in weeks; the pillows were disgusting, one appeared to have an imprint of a head; 2 of the 3 bath towels were dirty, one clearly had a dirty hand print. The tub, toilet and sink were clean and the rugs were clean, the walls were filthy. Location was convenient to SUNY Brockport; but if I were to visit again I would stay at the Hampton Inn right behind the Econo Lodge. It was definitely not worth the price and I would not stay again or recommend to anyone.

Good experiece, great location if visiting suny brockport. Shopping and resturants nearby, wegmans across the street.

Not great, very run down...needs updates. Top sheet missing on one of he beds, bottom sheets didn't fit the beds at all. No water pressure in the shower, trickled. TV turns off when you use the microwave. No seal around front door. Curtain rod falling off the wall. Website photos don't represent true conditions.

Not good, needs a lot of work. Room not clean, No shampoo, dumpster full of garbage smelled. No ice in the ice machine. Refridgerator did not get cold. Outside lights stay on all night Should have spent the extra twenty bucks a night and stayed elsewhere.

Honestly, had another couple that booked with us and had to leave and stay on Rochester because their room was full of bugs. We stayed because we counsel not find another availability. Staff was barely seen. Garbage was never emptied for 2 days and had to literally go to the local store to buy towels. Not at Would never recommend this facility to anyone. The lobby had a horrific odor and would nt even take a cup of coffee from it.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, walking distance to restaurants.

Needs updates,carpet, and air fresheners.

The clerk gave us a room that obviously was a smoking room when we requested non-smoking. When we returned to the desk, we requested the best non-smoking room available. The next room we saw had dozens of live ladybugs on the windowsill and the walls. When we approached the clerk again, he couldn't care less by saying, "What do you want me to do about it?"

Filthy-holes in carpet, nicotine running down the walls, put my wet towel back on rack-it was still wet at 6pm, sheets had been slept in before, no blanket-had to use bedspread-fire alarm hanging off wall, gum stuck to tile floor, shower curtain to low and very moldy, window frame painted white, but black with dirt-enough said?
