I have stayed here many times in the past due to the location and easy access to the highway, This last trip they seemed to have redone a lot of things in the rooms and gives its a nice new feel to it. Will be back soon again.
Stopped in her for one night on a road trip. Let’s say this is....’unique’. I try not to be too hard on budget prices motels. It’s not like they have loads of money to work with compared to a place that gets another $50-80/night for a bed & a shower but... Upon entering my room I was struck by how large it seemed. With one bed for two, it seemed downright spacious. Maybe because it also came equipped with a small night stand (one only), and a small table in front of the (non-functional) small TV. I always carry an iPad with movies for just such occasions! The room seemed clean enough, the floors the newer man-made fake wood, and the heat worked well. The night stand had that ‘distressed’ look from having black paint over a previous imperfect past finish. It was chipping mightily. I wonder if the recompense was that someone left one M&M and a penny in the drawer. Thinking of leaving my own penny. If enough of us do it, over time it might get a new paint job! Maybe the strangest part of all this was the lighting. Exactly ONE can light in the room, and one in the sink area. That’s one way to save on the electric bills! The open door of the ceiling smoke detector and the missing battery was another creative touch. Saving on stored electric that way too! Although the bed came with two mismatched pillows and seemed on the cheaper side of quality, I was dutifully rested and slept well. Would I stay here again? Yeah, I guess so. By myself. But would I bring my spouse here? Don’t think so.
Do not stay more than one night if you can avoid it!!! The rooms are not very well kept! Holes in comforters and sheets. The house keeping sucks. They failed to leave towels, bath mats and cups. Only two light in the room and no desk lamps if you needed to work at the desk. The clientele is questionable. The police came by three days ina row with multiple cars. Only in an emergency would I stay there again!!!
Okay, it's a Motel 6 not the Ritz BUT still, there should be standards. This room was filthy ("Hey cleaning staff...under the bed!") The floor was scuffed like someone had dragged a body across it (and I fear that that may have been the case). The curtains were torn down partially from their rod, which was also broken, such that they wouldn't close without me having to put the absurd little desk chair in front of them to hold them closed. The sheets were stained with one can only wonder, though don't do it for long because the possibilities are frightening. The shower could also use some cleaning and more than that NO HOT WATER! NEVER EVER STAYING HERE AGAIN!!!
Booked this motel about 1 am driving through. It didn’t have a pool, microwave, or fridge as listed on their site. It was dirty, shower curtain was literally dirty, had hair in the drain and dirt on the curtain. They painted all the walls, into the shower, all wall surfaces stark white recently. It’s so loud-all night, all morning, creaky doors, paper thin walls, stop at the next exit or just hit the wayside. Heed the reviews. Most of us that stay at a Motel 6 don’t expect 5 star quality. I can deal With less than perfect to save a few bux, but this one is baaaad. Take heed! + friendly overnight office worker - everything else
This Motel 6 is disgusting. The rooms are shotty. The curtains were mickey moused just to hang, the towels were all discolered as well as the sheets, they were stained. Don't walk barefoot in the room unless you want black feet. If you need a room go somewhere else.
We travel for work and sometimes do not have a choice because we are in a semi. This is by far the worst motel 6 I have seen since the south! I new it was bad when I started walking towards my room and saw the condition of the exterior of the rooms. Opened the door it was horrible. Only 3 lights worked , the tv did not and the floor was disgusting. See photos. It looks like it hasn't been shampooed ever! I'm pretty sure our maid just spot clean and can't even do that correctly. Called front desk about TV she couldn't fix it we opted to go without. So we sat and watched the local garbage in the parking lot until we fell asleep. I cannot understand why motel 6 allows this. If you can go somewhere else please Do! And do not book online you will regret it!
Easy access to the freeway and some places to eat. The room had a leak in it and they had a blower going when they gave me the room. At night, people were talking outside my room at 1 in the morning and the walls are paper thin. The room smelled like someone had smoked in it. The microwave did not work.
We stopped here on the way to AZ for work, coming down from the Bay Area. It was getting late and we saw the Motel 6 sign, so we pulled up and checked in. The lady at the front desk did her job, a rotisserie restaurant named Juan Pollo is across the parking lot with good chicken, the WiFi worked, and the television had all the channels. Those four factors earned this location a solid 1 star for recognition. Our room was filthy and left black grease on our feet that came off in the shower. Stains from cigarettes, spilled food, and maybe fecal matter were all over the floor. There was a patched hole by the bathroom mirror that had been patched, but never painted. Half of the electrical sockets didn't work. The screen of our bathroom window had been torn open at some point, either from someone trying to climb in or climb out. No toilet paper holders. No hair dryer. No ironing board. No in-room safe. No Kleenex. We had a non-smoking room, but it smelled like an ash tray. A pile of cigarette butts that looked like they had been sitting for week, sat outside of our window. It appeared that we were the only guests passing through and not actually living at the establishment. As we unloaded our car, one hooded man stood menacingly in front of his room, watching our every move. Good thing the deadbolt worked. Below us, a woman appeared to be selling weed out of her room and was serving clients when I came down to get my jacket out of the car. The smell of marijuana was pungent. An old fridge and microwave sat in the walkway. Trains, screaming, noise all night. Adios Motel 6 Beaumont. I hope we never see you again.
Believe the reviews. I did not. Some photos looked good so called hotel to ask if they had started remodeling. Said they had one remodeled room left. Front desk fellow very friendly. Photos of my "remodeled room" are attached. You be the judge.
