Enjoyed a fabulous meal with two friends. Food was delicious. Service was friendly and swift, even thought they were busy. Building is fascinating, with lots of fascinating history. Did not stay the night.
Had dinner on a Saturday night and I plan to avoid weekends in the future because the kitchen was very slow due to the restaurant being full. My husband and I shared a small plate of pork belly steam buns as an appetizer. The pork was crispy and delicious but a bit salty, and I am a big user of salt. The main course, Crispy Duck was perfect. The dessert profiteroles were disappointing. Service was good. Staff throughout were very welcoming.
My husband and I came here with friends who live in the area. We hadn’t been there in a while and as it was our anniversary, we wanted to go somewhere special. As always, it did not disappoint. Service was exceptional. Drinks were very good. We both enjoyed our delicious salad and I had salmon with fennel, so tasty. My husband had scallops , which he loved. They gave us a complimentary champagne toast, which was very nice. Overall, always an enjoyable dining event!
We recently enjoyed a two night stay while exploring the North Fork vineyards. We stayed in the Cider Room of this beautifully restored home. Collin and his staff were exceptional and accommodated all our requests - thank you. Dined in the restaurant one evening, it was excellent. Great breakfasts daily as well. Will definitely return as this is an excellent location to explore from ...
There is no doubt but that dinner at Jedediah Hawkins’ fine restaurant is a five star experience. The food is exquisite. The service is impeccable. The venue is extraordinary. All was lovely! One of the things that impressed me the most is the management and the staff are truly eager to please, while providing an excellent value for the food/experience and not, as all too many restaurants do, trying to squeeze every last nickel out of you. Case in point, rather than selling you a ridiculously overpriced $12 bottle of sparkling water, you are asked if you would like complimentary flat or sparkling water. Carafes are then brought, and refilled, as needed. How very refreshing for a high end restaurant, and how very respectful of the restaurant’s clientele. Do go. Do enjoy!
We spent 2 nights at the Inn and we are repeat guests. Upgraded to the suite and had dinner there as well. Restaurant is truly delicious. You will not find a better breakfast either! Everyone is top- notch and the place is gorgeous. It is a peaceful quiet oasis. Property Manager Colin makes you feel like your part of the family. No request is too big or too small! Do not miss a chance to stay here if your on the North Fork!!
A beautifully restored 150 year old home has been transformed into an inn and restaurant. Open for dinner during the week and brunch and dinner on weekends, their speak easy basement dining area is also a great place to have a meal. The main dining rooms are beautifully appointed and they have expanded another dining area, The solarium, which is airy and looks out onto the grounds. The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. They were very accommodating with our vegetarian and gluten free dietary issues. The yellow gazpacho soup was delicious as was the beet hummus. The burrata, nestled upon a bed of greens, was tasty and the potato gnocchi with fresh sautéed mushrooms was delicious. The kitchen accommodated my chocolate fix by satisfying my request for chocolate sauce for the flourless chocolate cake- heaven! Thank you for another delicious meal. Go early if want a quiet intimate experience.
We recently held our pre-wedding "Welcome Party" for approximately 100 out-of-town guests at Jedediah Hawkins and could not be happier with our experience. Lia, Colin, Grace, and the entire team were attentive and responsive throughout the planning process, and executed the event perfectly. From the beautiful outdoor area to the stunning barn, Jedediah provided the perfect setting to kick off our wedding festivities. The food, in both variety and quality, was outstanding and there was truly something for each of our guests to enjoy. We would not hesitate to recommend Jedediah Hawkins to anyone planning to host a large event. Thank you again to the Jedediah team!
we checked in for a wedding, and we werepleasantly surprised. the staff was great, and the room was very nice. the stay came with complementary breakfast. we had dinner there on our first night, and it was awsome. the breakfasts were the best i've had. service was splendid
My boyfriend and I stayed at Jeddadiah Hawkins last weekend while visiting the wineries out East. We wanted to stay somewhere close to the main attractions in the area and Jeddadiah was located close to everything (wineries, beaches, Lavender by the Bay, farms). We stayed in the cider room and found it to be very cozy. The inn has a rustic charm to it with beautiful grounds and a restaurant on site. The restaurant was definitely the highlight of our trip. We ate there once for dinner and twice for breakfast. All of the ingredients were fresh and the food was delicious. For dinner we started with the strawberry arugula salad. My boyfriend had the lobster roll and I had a pasta dish with pesto and tomatoes. We enjoyed our meal with glasses of local wine from some of the wineries that we visited. The portions were the perfect size so we had room for dessert. I tried the strawberry rhubarb cake and it was amazing! Breakfast was included in our room rate and I have to say we were so impressed. We expected buffet style, however we enjoyed a very generous spread of fresh fruit, croissants, coffee/tea and our favorite- the blueberry pancakes! I highly recommend taking advantage of the breakfast. The staff was so attentive and friendly, it really was such a great way to start our day. Another thing to highlight is that the inn provides guests with free tasting cards for local wineries. We definitely took advantage of this and splurged on some great wine to take home as well. Overall, the experience was excellent and we would definitely return.
