Rose River Cottage is a gem! The outdoor spaces are so nice and the fenced in yard was a treat for our pup that you don’t find at many properties. Beth is a great host; she promptly responded to all questions and really wanted to be sure we had all the comforts and amenities we wanted or needed. We visited the area with the purpose of going to New River Gorge National Park. The drive there from the cottage was beautiful not too far with several nice waterfalls along the way. Train lovers will also love this cottage as many of them passed on the other side of the River.

This is a must stay property. We loved celebrating our anniversary here. So peaceful and so accommodating. We had an amazing stay at the River Cottage. Definitely will come back again. It was the best place in Boomer West Va to vacation. The Falls were beautiful. So many things to do and not far to go to. Try out The New Place for the best fried bologna sandwich. From Kayaking, ATV, to Ziplines. Tudor’s Biscuit World is Yummy too.The Historic Ferris Inn has great food too as well as a kayak lunch area down the road to kayak at the falls. Beth was an amazing host and always available if you needed anything.
