Staff & service was very cordial and helpfull, however the room had seemed like it had unfinished construction work, like cement on the bathroom floor, some infiltration on the bathroom and some spots of painting on random places, besides that it was an okay room.

Convenient location and excellent value!

An excellent choice that you might wish to consider! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and overall this is a great hotel choice based on its location and value. The hotel is conveniently located only one block from Praia Shopping Botafogo and also convenient to the metro line (2 blocks away). The entire staff worked hard to ensure our comfort - from the wonderful breakfast buffet to attending to all of our needs to providing wonderful service. Muito abrigado, Plaza Spania!

Awesome place

Had a great stay, very nice hotel ans good staff. They are really friendly, have a nice solo artist on the weekend’s. Location is really amazing, it definitely felt safer than Copacabana. The breakfast is awesome ans their cakes. The room I had was small but it is expected for the price. I would stay longer, my only complaint is there is no natural sunlight. The rooms are inside so there are no windows for outside. If it had that, would definitely staid longer. I definitely recommend the place and I definitely would return.

A great hotel

I loved the room as it has everything you need: A comfortable bed and an excellent shower - The space is small, it is optimized and we were able to comfortably accommodate our bags and backpacks. The breakfast is super complete and delicious, with fresh fruit, a delicious coffee and a variety of cold meats, breads and tea - The location of the Hotel is very good, close to coffee shops, restauntes and Botafogo subway station. Important fact: If you travel by car it is difficult to get parking, since places are not reserved and the hourly payment is expensive.

A good affordable hotel in Rio

Stayed as a couple for 5 nights. First time in Rio. The area was fine - near Botafogo metro/Uber. Staff friendly. Cleaners were great. Breakfast in the morning was decent - nice scrambled eggs and fresh bread. Room was small but perfect for us. Shower was good. Air con worked well. Very happy and planning to stay again.

Good location, that is about it.

Hotel is located near Botafogo beach (where because of pollution you don’t want to swim). Also a block and a half from an 8 story shopping center, which has a movie theater and lots of restaurants. Also three blocks from the metro and a block away from bus stop. The hotel is two years old and falling apart at the seams. After every down pour, there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling. Even when it did not rain, it leaked once. Room was very tight for a queen size bed. Sheets were from decades ago. Breakfast buffet was lacking diversity. Staff was very nice.

A limpeza do quarto deixa a desejar, especificamente quanto ao chão estava sempre sujo, não parece que tinha sido limpo. Sem contar que também que tinha uma baratinha na pia do banheiro. De resto o hotel é muito bem localizado e o café da manhã é ok também.
