Not recommended but good location

The apartment has a great location. Unfortunately, there is only one window to the small inner courtyard so there's never sunlight or any really fresh air. The furniture and the apartment overall has seen the best times... the matress looks and smells not that great and was too hard for us. The kitchen tools have all been poorly cleaned. The 24h portier is very friendly but lets coming in everybody, without registration. After a few nights, we changed to a real Hotel and it was absolutely worth it... would not recommend to stay in this apartment.

We found apartment to be disappointing because there was only one window that looked out to the interior walls & only had a peek of sky 9 floors up ! Also were concerned about safety as if fire or peril in hallway there would be no escscaping to stairway .Also there was no way to be rescued from this suite as that window was facing a totally enclosed area with iron fence & razor wire on top ! We were pleased with responce from management on our request for a new coffee pot as old one had glass pot broken but cooking utensils especially frying pans were in deplorable condition but used them anyway ! We were pleased with security & maitainence of suite & building . The staff especially persons @ desk were helpful & considerate ! We also were very happy that our request to have our check-out time changed to accommodate a late departure from Rio was granted by mge. & cleaning staff were obliging as well by respecting this change & getting us cleaning supplies & toilet paper .
