This is a decent hotel but my room was not very clean. Also, my room's bathroom was too small and uncomfortable. I was traveling solo so it wasn't a huge problem. Breakfast was good, nothing fancy but different options to choose from. Staff in general was very friendly and helpful.

Had a great experience at hotel Vermont. Room was clean with nice amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is great, surrounded by shops and restaurants and 2 blocks from the beach and 4 blocks from the lagoon. Definitely recommend and will stay here again next time I visit Rio.

Our stay was very comfortable. The room is clean and the breakfast buffet was actually very good. The location was perfect, only a five minute walk to Ipanema Beach. Plus they give you free beach towels, and umbrellas.

Overall, a solid 3-star hotel located in an excellent location. I can't really think of anything to complain about, since everything was as promised and consistent with a 3-star hotel. Do not expect 5-star accommodations at a 3-star hotel; you will be very happy with Hotel Vermont.

This hotel has character and is well located. Short walk to a variety of restaurants and Ipanema beach. There was an issue with the A/C in our room and the desk manager was able to move us to another room. The quality and variety of food at breakfast was good.
