So this was a fantastic property. It was centrally located to just about everything in ReykjavÃk. It was more than a hostel, and the private rooms were well worth the price.
I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.
Convenient place, nice enough room but no personal available , free coffee if you’re early in the morning, runs out and nobody there to refill the machine
Clean. Comfortable. It was not loud while we were there. Clear instructions on how to get in even though we did not see staff. Nice sitting area with coffee and tea machine.
Very clean! Loved the coffee station and relaxing common rooms. My room was cozy and warm. Great location for exploring the city and getting buses and shuttles for airport and excursions
Very basic guesthouse. Bed was good. One electrical outlet in the room--had to unplug the lamp to plug in my phone charger. Electronic locks on room doors are a bit fussy--especially ridiculous if you get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night! ALL the door hinges in the place could use a bit of oil--not a huge deal in the off season, but I would get annoyed very quickly by all the noisy/squeaky doors when occupancy is high.

Showers were really dirty and some were clogged. Bathrooms were mostly clean
The room was clean, albeit a bit small. The walls are practically paper thin so bring a pair of noise cancelling headphones. Despite the noise, it is a perfectly nice place to stay and relatively inexpensive, as well as being in a great location. If you are on a budget, then it is worth staying here.
Sink pipes in rooms make loud noises all night long

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
This place was exactly what we needed. We stayed for about five nights, spending most of our time on road trips and visiting lagoons, so we didn’t need anything overly luxurious for our home base. Despite having shared showers and bathrooms, everything was consistently very clean.
Interestingly, I never saw a staff member during our stay, yet the property was clearly well maintained. The showers were always available when we needed them, with no waiting.
The location was also a big plus—many key parts of ReykjavÃk were just a short walk from the front door. I’d definitely stay here again. 10/10. Also, a lot of close by parking that you can finagle overnight with good timing :)
Thanks for having us!! Hope to come back soon!!
Easy access with front door codes and room codes. Small room but have communal living room and dinning room. Bathroom is shared. Good for a quick overnight stay. Boxed breakfast was given to guests in the morning.
