Lively spacious apartment, very comfortable furniture and beds. Shower didn’t drain well.

Booked a street view apartment. Our view was of back alley parking lot and trash cans. Had to email property 3 times before receiving an answer. Property Fully charged my card 10 days prior to arrival, which was ok, but Orbitz did not advise me this would happen.

Convienient. Responsive staff. Apartment was well equipped.

difficult for check in but overall everything was good.

This property was great . Easy to check in . Awesome location. Very spacious . My only complaint is the apartment is very cold . The heat is only a floor heater. We had to use the stove to warm up the apartment. A floor heater is not enough in Iceland.

This property was very convenient and close to pick up location #10. It was relatively clean but my allergies were acting up in the smaller room which may be attributed to dust coming from the heater. The kitchen is well equipped for heating up meals and making simple breakfasts. For one of the nights, the internet was down and the heater did not work. I reached out to the property manager via email to no avail but luckily they fixed it by the next day. Check in was easy but check out instruction on the wall with the key hook did not make sense. There is no way for me to leave the key in the apartment and also lock the door since the door requires me to lock from the outside. I ended up placing it in the lock box. Overall, my friends and I were pleased with the apartment and recommend for future visits.

Overall, CPLA is a great place to stay for a visit to Iceland. The location is fantastic - right near one of the main tour pick up spots and on the main street for shops, restaurant and easy walking distance to many other sights in Reykjavik. A few things to know. There is only one key and fob provided. This is a problem if your group is doing different things during the day. As these are apartments large enough for groups or 4-6, an additional key would be most helpful. The washing machine works, but not to US standards. The clothes consistently came out with soap on them and the rubber seals in the front loader are just nasty -- lots of sitting water and soap scum. Even wiping it out, there was still a smell. The food market is close by, but closes at 6:30 every day. There aren't any other markets to grab food, so be prepared if you are going to be out past 6:30 and don't want to spend a small fortune at one of the nearby restaurants. Check out is by 10am, which would be fine, except that the office isn't consistently open that early to drop off bags. We roamed the city with our bags for a few hours as a result. The staff is super responsive if you need something. Just send an email and they will get back to you quickly.

Nice and helpful crew, close to everything, safe, free parking will stay again if I visit Iceland

Spacious, comfortable, well located. Excellent optionption for big family. Nice they take garbage away every other day, but could have been good to have a broom. Would love to come back

Great location. Easy to find. Near Main Street and bus stop. Large living/sitting area. Complete facilities. Almost perfect. But, the shower had a slight overflow issue due to placement of the doors and shower head alongside the lack of enough towels to lay down for footing. Bring slippers.

Nice apartment but a few issues. The check in process is online with a code to a lock box emailed to you. That's great, except how to find the apartments, which are accessed by driving through a short tunnel in between buildings into a parking lot. Found this out through trial and error. Good not initially find the apartments, they are not marked in any way! Since our phones did not work in Iceland, had to get a local to call so I could speak with someone. Finally got it worked out where to go, found the building mailboxs where lock boxes are. Had to try several lock boxes as the number did not agree with the correct box! Process should be explained in a much more detailed manner on the check in email! Also, bed in second room lis very small! Ok for to small children but that is all. No shampoo, soap conditioner in units. There is a wall mounted shower gel dispenser and soap dispenser in bathroom.

This is a mixed use apartment (some for short term rental and others with long term residents). We had trouble at the outset with the parking lot gate remote not working. The sheets and blankets in the pull out sofa were not clean. The shower did not drain. The room was not cleaned every other day as promised. During our stay, the apartment was cleaned once. The garbage was emptied once. On another day, the bathroom light started flickering. During our five day stay, we had to call nearly every day for one problem or another. While the problems were generally resolved, it became very tedious to have to call international everyday for something that should have been done anyway.

Our stay was from Wed-Sun. Place is the perfect location for everything, especially when getting picked up for the tours we booked and also the bsi bus pick up location to and from the airport which is just a short walk. Anytime requesting pick up for tours , etc...always let them know (Pick up place is 100 Iceland Hotel, it's right next to each other). Apartment has modern interior. Comfortable bedding, dining and living area. The kitchen is very practical. The washer and dryer was a little difficult to start at first...the machines are different from USA machines. there's directions on the panel. In the restroom, the mirrors are actual cabinets that open. There's toilet paper and a hair dryer provided. There is a smell of rotten eggs from the bathroom which is from the floor drain and probably the sulfur from their water supply. The apartment is heated from its floor, which I loved! The cleaners came and took trash out on the third day. This place is located so very conveniently. It starts from the first part of it's town. Super Market called BONUS is nearby. The church is close too. You can walk into 100 Icaland Hotel and ask for a big map of town thats provided at the front desk. Go eat breakfast at NATS. Breakfast is delish and FRESH JUICE!! Most all coffee shops has free wi-fi and fresh juice!!!

We had booked 2 rooms. They did not inform us that they will give those 2 rooms almost 2-3 blocks away! Our Family had to live separately! One with 4 guests had bed space for 2! Took 2.5 hrs to settle and we lost out guided tour for Reykjavik.. No provision or guidance for garbage disposal. Not cheap at all! Rooms are new, spacious and good kitchen.

Five of us stayed at the two bedroom for one night. Location is at the end of the shopping street, but not very close to downtown. On site free parking is available, which is really nice. Room is clean and well designed. Bathroom is big and clean, with sufficient hot water. Kitchen has plenty of appliances and is clean and spacious. I would suggest to stay with max of 5 people or preferably up to 4, because the sofa bed is not that comfortable to stay 2, and the smaller then full bed in the smaller bedroom is a little narrow for 2 people. Overall, pretty pleasant experience.

Hi Sarah Thanks for taking the time to leave your review, we are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. Regarding leaving the key and check out.. there is no need to lock the door when you leave as you need to go through the elevator and another locked door using your keychip. And our cleaning staff arrives in the morning. Thank you for choosing CPLA.
