Hotels in this price range should provide basics supplies. I have never stayed at a major hotel that didn’t provide shampoo. The Westin did not and it put me way behind getting ready in the morning.
Very pretty hotel but the first room was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned or sanitized then the second room our toilet was broken and the AC was warm. It was an ok stay but a little disappointing
Location great, parking easy, front desk staff very friendly and helpful, room was great. One small complaint; towels were very bad! They were thin and like a cheap hotel towels.
All staff pleasant and helpful except for a single front-desk person. Younger woman with multi-colored hair checked me into a much smaller room than what was on orbitz. Didn't mention that, and didn't give the breakfast vouchers that were supposed to be part of the reservation. Generally she seemed uninterested/bored and possibly annoyed - not a great introduction to your otherwise excellent hotel. BUT, *Everyone* else was great - Mauricio got us in the correct room, and the other front-desk lady helped us on Sunday when we were asked for the breakfast vouchers. Room clean, pool great.
What did I like about the Westin in Reston? Everything!!! Very nice. Super comfortable beds. Top shelf accommodations and staff.

BEWARE -- they overbook rooms, so when I went to check in, despite having pre-paid weeks in advance, they refused me a room. Absolutely outrageous. I've stayed here in the past and found the rooms good. Yes they refunded my $450 room, and they found me a room about 10 minutes away but it was a seedy nasty $75 per night dump. They obviously had no excuse for this outrage except to blame *ME* for trying to check in so late (5:00pm) even though I had attempted to check in in-person around 11:30am. They even held my baggage behind the desk all day, so they clearly knew I was coming, they just didn't care. Unreal.
Close to the airport. Plenty of parking space. Excellent staff.

This hotel was great, very clean and staff was friendly. They had free wine tasting in the lobby on one of the days. Loved it.
