The hotel was very clean and had the comfort of home. The staff was very friendly and willing to please. I like to recognize the operational manager Christina Wanex for her accommodating friendly personality. She has been a great help to make my husband and my stay bearable away from home. My husband has stayed 5 weeks in a row only home on weekends . He will be coming back to complete his job for his company, and knows he can count on a pleasant stay at the Quality Inn where Christina Wanex makes sure everything is set up for him and his crew. Thank you Quality Inn for having a great staff to accommodate all. Dwayne & Carol Wilson
I stayed at this location with my husband for over a week while he was in town there working with his company . I felt it was very necessary and important to let other guest and management of the hotel to know that there is a young lady there named Christina Wanex , i cant remember what she told me was her job title but i did get her to write her name down . She was constantly smiling and up and down the halls cleaning ,moving boxes, she was outside one evening cleaning out a shed in the hot weather wearing full dress clothes with no concern that they would get ruined all while making sure myself and other guest were being tooken care of all with a smile on her face and never a complaint one could you hear her say ! She was a joy to talk to and i do remember her not being from the area so she went above and beyond to search local resturants and reviews for us , so we could enjoy a evening out ! She was a pleasant reminder that there is still great customer service out there ! Amazing job and the other day shift staff was pleasant as well . great breakfast and outside area was a great surprise . Would recommand and stay again
The operacional mánager Christina handled the front desk really well. She was very patient and accomandating While having a lobby full of guest trying to get rooms that had no reservations scheduled ahead. Just wanted to make sure she was reconized for her hard work and patiences
Rooms were fairly clean. Staff pleasant. They should limit how much ice the baseball teams can take. Two days in a row we had no ice because the teams used it all. They should save some for the rest of the guest. When I mentioned this at checkout the clerk didn't seem to care. Breakfast was ok. Your typical hotel breakfast. We would consider staying here again if in the area
Let me start by saying I am a baseball parent myself. I came for three nights during my son's tournament at Sports at the Beach. I was very thankful to have found this inexpensive hotel just three miles from the park. Other parents on my son's team did not act fast enough and were stuck paying $300 a night for hotels by the beach. Originally I planned to bring my dog and got a dog friendly room, which was on the 1st floor directly off the lobby and essentially the worst room in the place because it is so noisy. Aside from kids running around, all the parents took over the lobby every night all night long socializing and drinking beer until well after midnight. I actually am writing this review on my last night of my stay holed up in my room with the air conditioner on to muffle the noise. Very annoyed at these parents and at the hotel management's lack of control over this. As I mentioned to the night clerk, they could be socializing at a bar or restaurant as the parents on my team did! Other than this issue I am pretty happy here. The bed is comfy and the hot breakfast is good and the staff all pleasant.
The hotel is great very clean, well kept staff if wonderful and Chrystal the manager is tops goes above and beyond to help out and make your trip great. Here for work and she made sure everything for our stay was set up and ready for us so that we could get to work refreshed and ready.
Stayed for my sons sports at the beach tournament. The hotel is very close to the tournament. Brandi the front desk agent was awesome. She was there our entire stay like she never went home. Always smiling and always greeted us in our passings. The suite we had was very spacious and very clean. The breakfast had many options and the scrambled eggs and sausage links made me feel like I was eating in a restaurant. The waffles were a hit with my kids. When in the area we will stay here again and we will let all our friends and family no if this awesome place to stay.
Stayed a Thursday - Sunday for baseball like most of the other guests in this hotel. We found the staff pleasant and hard working. The room was equivalent to other brand names like Courtyard. Large, clean, great air conditioning nice work area, working fridge and microwave. Bathroom was well lit and had a heat lamp. Housekeeping was easy with fulfilling a request for extra towels and the women who ran the breakfast hustled to keep up with the large crowd. TV and plenty of outlets to accommodate all the technology we had along. Laundry room was small but it worked and did the job needed.Breakfast basic but will do to get you started bagels, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, as well as yogurt, eggs, waffles, and sausage. The pool was small ad clean and you could get extra towels at the front desk. Easy access to lots of great food, grocery stores, Walmart and the ball park. The rate was steep and I was told by the front desk if I would booked directly I could have gotten a better rate. They need to let folks know on their website then....I always use my app a points member of Choice Hotels. My second half of this review is not about the hotel but the other guests. We are seasoned travel baseball parent so I understand the little league families who travel in packs with all of their kids in tow and use this as a mini vacation. We've been there and done that our kids are just older now. Most people are part of a greater extended baseball family so we understand and always kept our kids in line ...they were never perfect but this weekend I was there the they literally were not very nice people....and I am talking directly about the parents I watched multiple parents stocking up from the free breakfast taking 4 yogurts in a cooler to the field as well as bagels to make sandwiches in their rooms - and clearing out times before others, like myself even had a chance to get food. BTW their families were eating while they filling up. They were also pretty rude to the ladies running the buffet. At the pool they were not better, saving seats for their young children (4 or 5 yo) who were in the pool (there is limited seating) and when asked if we could grab two chairs for our party of 6 was told those are for their kids and they were there first. If you are staying in the summer months and are not a baseball family don't stay here during that time especially on a weekend We loved the tournament and we took home the Chi[p but the other guests were obnixious.
The staff is wonderful. Sadly, the facility has issues. The first issue was the (no smoking) room that reeked. My business travel partner was upgraded due to her room's stench. It was so bad, the smell invaded the hall, my room across the hall, and the stairwell. The other issue was the marginal cleaning. The toilet bowl had a distinct ring from lack of cleaning. The tub didn't look scoured either. But it was very affordable and offered a free breakfast so I can't complain too much.
Really nice hotel, shining example for the brand. We stayed here for an overnight stay on a business trip. The hotels and rooms are clean and neat. Bed was firm but not board-like. Soft fluffy towels. The staff was friendly and helpful.
