The property is misleading saying it is a mile from downtown. It may be mile from the Red Lodge sign but it is right at 3 miles from downtown. There is no walking anywhere from this location. Its a gravel road to the property and not a good one. We arrived around 4 in the afternoon and it was around 100 outside and the thermostat was on 78 and it was very hot in the house. Took a while to cool down the downstairs and the upstairs never cooled down until we aimed a fan towards the upstairs since no air comes out of the registers upstairs. We also had to open the upstairs windows and there were a lot of bugs between the window and the screen.There was almost no toilet paper. One roll maybe had 10 sheets and the other bathroom roll maybe had 20 sheets on the roll. Needless to say there were no spare rolls so i had to run to the grocery store at 7 am our first morning and buy toilet paper. We were on a motorcycle trip and this was my first time using rentals on one of our trips. We will now be using hotels again.
