Room door did not deadbolt. The knob just spun around, deadbolt never came out of the door. The safety lock on the inside was missing. Anyone with a key would have been able to enter the room. 2 light bulbs burnt out.

Close to restaurants and downtown. Could walk to all.

It’s a great place to lay your head and sleep after a day of exploring Red Lodge. I stayed there 15 years ago on a college trip and it looked exactly the same as it did then! Ha Nostalgia :)

Price was our biggest concern and this was a clean and quiet option for a reasonable price. Close enough to downtown to walk.

Location was good. Could easily walk downtown mainstreet. Front staff was helpful. Rooms and hotel are worn. Room was clean enough, but not super clean (ie, corner of bathroom had dirt...little details like that). Breakfast was from 6-9 and included only continental items and hot waffles. Very minimal choices. Could have added fruit or something else. Overall would stay here again if had to, but would look elsewhere first.

Outdated and a little spooky. Rooms were clean but had old tobacco smell. Room door looked as if it had been forced at some time in the past and we had to lean on the door to engage the deadbolt.

This is an old hotel that has been retrofitted with cast offs from other hotels that were upgrading. They have been assembled in the room in ways that shows a serious lack of attention to detail. There was some nice things in the hotel like the pool / jacuzzi, weight-room, breakfast area. But the condition of the hallways, strange paint job in the hallways, noise that you could hear between rooms, street-level rooms with people walking right past your window, and finally the very tiny shower toilet combination in our room all made our stay a bit on the uncomfortable side. The air conditioning worked great.

Dated facility that used to be a Best Western, but clean and new owners are updating it. Breakfast is minimal... We walked the three blocks to Regis instead for a great breakfast. I would stay here again.

From the outside of this hotel it is old and run down. We walked in and nobody was covering the front desk. Once somebody showed up, we were told that the pool was closed. The room was ok. The location of the hotel was good. Luckily I was only staying here for a snowboarding trip with the guys. If I booked this to stay with my wife or family, I would have some explaining to do.

Wifi too weak to log on to. Had to use a different hotel server. Empty motel and put on second floor in the center.

Room was clean and comfortable at a very reasonable price.

We had read reviews from other people, they said that it was charming. We were somewhat disappointed, there was a rope for a handle on one of the outside doors, which we had to laugh at. Otherwise it was affordable and very accessible. It was a little bit difficult to find as it was located behind another building and the sign is facing the off street.

Hotel was a little dingy. Value seemed okay. Warn exterior and poor curb appeal.

They let us check in early in the day, which made our visit work very well. Good wifi connection.

This hotel was great! We stayed for 2 nights and it was great! We are in Red Lodge every year for a special event and this was our first stay at this hotel. After reading other reviews, I admit I was worried, but honestly they were way off base. Yes there are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed, but in a resort town, with lots of wild animals around, some issues will be there no matter how often they are repaired. There were no mold issues in any of the rooms in our group, and we had multiple rooms. You can hear other hotel stayers in the hall, but I have never stayed at a sound proof hotel in my life. The owner was awesome and extremely helpful. Breakfast was fine for us. There was cereal, fruit cups, muffins, donuts, oatmeal, waffles, biscuits and gravy and more available. The area was clean and kept stocked. Breakfast was ready by the time it was supposed to be everyday. The pool area was clean and neat. It is more than likely that we will stay here again next year.

Much more than an hour to Yellowstone despite info on website. Not enough parking. Breakfast room dirty. Time to change carpet in entire hotel. Cooked curry by family members in adjacent hotel rooms pervades hotel. Pool and Jacuzzi were fine.
