First, there are no upscale hotels in Red Lodge. This is an older building with very basic offerings it is run by a very nice Indian couple, who I suspect are also the owners. We arrived early, and they worked hard to get us into the room at noon, which was very kind. We were grateful for the laundry facilities This place has its weaknesses, most of which are reflections of the age of the property. It needs renovation and updating. But some of the criticisms here seem rooted in antipathy towards the national origin of the owners and that is disappointing.

The property was extremely outdated. No working vending machines throughout the hotel. When inquired about bottled water there was no one who spoke English to understand my request. The amount they charge for a very outdated room and minimal accommodations I would not recommend this hotel.

Disappointing
The entire property is in need of updating and upgrading. The carpets are dirty and worn in the hallways. I had a difficult time getting the heater in my room to work and had to get the manager to start it, and when he did, he told me to keep the bathroom door closed so the heat wouldn't escape!

I don’t think it is ok to advertise that the rate includes breakfast when it doesn’t. It violates consumer laws. The hotel is not accessible to persons with disabilities and therefore is not in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The property needs update.

Bed was great but the rest of the hotel was pretty shady… wreaked of pot smell all through the corridor… loud music coming from one room, thankfully only for a couple hours…

Very outdated. Tub doesn’t drain, so it’s like showering in a bath. Neither of the two lamps work, so we sat in a dark room the whole night. Old and perpetually dirty. Hair in the shower, animal hair on the bath mat. For $111, I don’t expect great amenities but I do expect cleanliness, draining shower and working lamps.

Desk guy incredibly rude and abrasive . Hotel run down, guests not allowed to use most of the doors, incredibly inconvenient to take luggage in and out. Hotel itself stunk, dirty rags everywhere, carpets disgusting. Worst hotel stay we've had in years.
