Got there and were "greeted" by messed up people in the parking lot. Went to check in and the lobby was dingy. No elevator so took a narrow staircase to the 2nd floor. Holes in hallway walls and stains on the old carpets along with reeking like cigarette. Got to the tiny room with old blankets and smelling like pee. Turned around and checked out. Staff was nice and refunded me without asking any questions. As we were leaving the staff was trying to deal with a rough looking guy on crutches who had been dropped off from who knows where. Not at all safe or clean and it was much worse than I expected even for a cheap Super 8. They likely rent these rooms by the hour.

We had a terrible overnight stay. The room had bed bugs, and my kids couldn’t sleep all night. We traveled all the way to Calgary to celebrate their birthday, but instead of enjoying, we had a very stressful stay. On top of that, the reception staff was unwelcoming and unhelpful when we raised our concerns. This was extremely disappointing and not what we expected at all. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families. I

Found bugs in room. Musty smelling. Got moved to a much better room. Stained carpets in hallways and stair carpets not vacuumed.

The hallways were a mess on the carpet and smelled like weed/cigarette smoke. Our room had a door which would allow someone to come into our room without our key. The carpet in our room was dirty. The balcony door would not lock, there was a paper cup full of water sitting on it. The cup attracted a cat. The microwave was not cleaned. There was stains on the bed sheets. The bathroom was designed so that one would have to expose themselves to the front door aftdr a shower, and the mystery door that we did not have knowledge of. When we first got to the hotel, there was a group of people hanging out in the parking lot away from the streets view, which made my spouse uncomfortable. But the air conditioning worked and the front workers were friendly.

Nasty the hotel should be condemned

Room was filthy, bathroom sink was plugged, this was the kitchenette with no pots pans dishes utensils, was very heartbreaking as we brought her own food. They could not supply with anything to cook with. Carpet was filthy we had the we use our shoes.

Not a good place to stay

Look like they are in a middle of a renovation. Parts of the wirings were visible. One of the rooms we got, the cabinet door was missing. I wouldn't stay here again.

It was really dirty. Felt gross sleeping in the bed. I booked a kitchen room and one wasn’t available until day 3 of my stay. Once I got in the room there were no plates or anything. I definitely will not be staying again or any other super 8.

Convenience of location. Sorry , but there were various bugs in the bedding. Not proper towels. No coffee for machine. The rooms smelled damp. Seems not very well taken care of property. I don’t mind older places - but dirty and impractical is not good for a hotel.

The room was filthy, the office chairs were ripped, the storm windows hadn’t been updated, had no screen and they didn’t lock. I had to find a copper pipe to put in the window to keep it secure. There was garbage in our kitchen left in the cupboards. Everything looked like it had been left the way the previous occupants had left it and that the only thing housekeeping did was make the bed. The hallways smelled stale and the carpet was warped in places causing a person to trip. Wifi worked as expected. The area around the hotel had good amenities. The waitress at Boston Pizza was lovely.

Ive tried to submit this teview complaint 3 time and kicks me out. Do choked at the motel. Complained at frt desk. Wouldnt do a thing and not even an apology for anything. Guy has no customer service skills and afternoon guy would sooner kick the soccer ball with buddies out side. No it a cheap room. Would have been better off sleeping in my truck. I'm 70 and was basicly treated like crap. Should actually get a refund
