The room was clean and the staff during the day were quite nice. Night staff not so much. I went to the third floor - my key wouldn't work - back down. Guy at the desk said to keep it away from my phone. Couple hrs later went down to get snacks. Back up - key didn't work. So he says "I told you to keep it away from your phone! " as he angrily swiped it to reload. I very nicely explained that if it affected it from across the damn room - I could see it I guess. he was a jerk. Rest of the stay was amazing.
I only stayed for 1 night but I can honestly say it was amazing I fell in love with the pillows they were a real winner! The location was perfect as It was walking distance from Taylor plaza and Tim Hortons is in the same parking lot!
Rooms are ok. Bathrooms are getting tired though. Staining in the tubs and toilets. Baseboards and casings need paint or repair in the bathrooms. The first room that I was in you could see daylight through the .5 inch gap between the the door and the frame. Rooms look like they are clean, just don't look under the bed or behind any furniture. Kinda gross! Wrappers and just filthy,
Rooms were clean, breakfast was good. Not many towels and no hand lotion. After getting out of the pool it would have been nice to have body lotion.
The service is amazing, the staff is always friendly, and after they deal with you a few times with on the phone checkins, they know who you are after just a few words on the phone. I'll tell Hanna, I want a room with a bed, shower and TV. She'll say, "Hello Dan, I'll have your room ready for you, see you in a bit." The last time I was there, they didn't have my usual room, so I was upgraded at the same rate.
After having let down by Comfort Inn (credit card issue), this hotel saved me from having to sleep in my car on a cold night. Amazing warm welcome, the guy a reception (Andrew, I believe, not 100% sure) was very helpful and got a room for me without any reservation. And I was granted a discount to top it off! Rooms are old-ish, yet very comfortable and most of all clean. Good internet connection for the business travellers. Super quiet, even though the parking lot is ultra packed (next to Tim Horton's). Good breakfast choice, you won't leave hungry. I'm forever grateful these guys helped me out. Kudos!
I had booked one room for two nights while working nightshift in the area. After the first night i woke up to a call at noon telling me that i had to leave because they accidently booked me 2 rooms for one night and the hotel was fully booked. Was offered no compensation on the one night i did stay.
We were Referred to Vimal at this facility to look into Stay and Play Golf Packages. His service was great, priced appropriately, and responses were timely! Our Stay was great. Rooms were clean, staff were very friendly, and the whole trip was enjoyable! Thank you, Vimal!
I'm not sure why i am writing this since the owners of this hotel doesn't seem to care or respond to the other reviews. I was at this hotel for 2 nights and the check-in was all good then it came down to the check-out. I wanted to stay again, but decided not too as some impatient housekeepers basically threw me out of the room saying i had 10 min to be out and that they were done for the day, It was 11:15am Monday morning...there was no way they were going to be done for the day. I know this cause i worked in a very wonderful hotel chain and never treated a Guest or ever seen another staff member treat a Guest in that manner. The room was also very dirty. I dont think the carpet was at all vacuumed, there was garbage in the garbage can and there was finger marks along with other grosse dirty marks on the headboard. Good thing i carry Lysol wipes with me to these places these days the housekeeping is always in such a rush. Just a tip...if your going to use their phones makes sure to wipe them clean first! There distgusting! I looked at the wipe afterwards , it was not good. AND THE REMOTE!!!!
The first night was good. The second night, I started to get a headache. Then about 1230 am there was a load bang and it was the ac coming off the wall. Called the front desk. He was the only one there. Didn't really want to come up and check. When he did he looked at the thermostat and said nothing wrong with it.told him it was the ac. He moved us to a different room. However the toilet in that room wasn't working right. Just kept running all night
