The staff is very unprofessional. The man in the desk has no respect for guests and doesn’t wanna work properly. They don’t change the towels and they are often out of the desk and don’t open the gate.

Home Away from Home

I have nothing but praise for the Vitoria Praia pousada and its amazing, super-nice staff. You feel like you're part of a family, instead of a hotel, which you are, since you're in the hands of owner Ana Cristina and her husband. We came back to the hotel several times to book more nights after taking side trips around Northeast Brazil. The Vitoria became our home away from home and also for one of our friends, who stayed longer than we did, turning the patio into his computer cafe. The lobby and downstairs patio are decorated with local folk art, as are the rooms. It's all sunny and bright. We were the only non-Brazilians for the entire stay there. The upstairs breakfast and dining room is spacious and overlooks the skyline of the city. You can go out on the veranda at night to take in the city lights. There are two great restaurants across the street and the beach is six blocks away. For price, location, and people, the Vitoria gets a 10.

O quarto estava ótimo, aconchegante, lençóis e toalhas limpas, estava tudo ok, equipe da recepção bem gentil e sempre atendendo bem. A única coisa que poderiam mudar é a questão do portão está sempre fechado, pois tira a privacidade do hóspede ficar pedindo para abrir quando sai e quando volta. e sim, recomendo e voltaria mais vezes. ❤️

O café da manhã foi cobrado taxa extra, o quarto de hotel não parece com o da foto. O atendimento foi terrível e com uma diária paga a dona do hotel alugou o quarto e nós ficamos sem ter onde ficar.

Ótimo atendimento. A parte ruim é que o café paga por fora e super simples, bem como ficamos esperando alguém abrir o portão, pq tem poucos funcionários, e como tem moradores de rua perto, pode ser um pouquinho perigoso. A dica seria para melhorar esses dois pontos, principalmente, sobre o portão.
