Where to start… security. The main door was supposed to be locked 24/7 and opened with a key card. It was easily opened without the key card. The room door didn’t fully shut without an extra pull/push on it. The door shut like any other hotel door but I noticed there wasn’t a click sound. When I pushed on the door it opened easily. The window was unlocked when we arrived and being in the first floor was definitely worrisome.
The room was clean but was definitely freshly sprayed with Lysol. My children were the first to remark on the smell. The air conditioner was off when we got to the room. I turned it on and it made a loud rattling sound. I left it on while we were out if the room but shut it off for the night which made for an uncomfortable warm sleep. The closet door couldn’t be opened without hitting the bed frame. The bathroom was definitely on the smaller side with the sink on the outside of the bathroom.
The hotel staff was friendly and overall great. The continental breakfast was typical egg, sausage, waffle maker; bagel, English muffins, yogurt, cereal, and juice. The breakfast room was a little tight but luckily not too busy when we were there.
Overall, we stayed one night, it was a great price and it did the trick for us but personally, I won’t be choosing this hotel again.
