Americas Best Value Inn Litchfield

Great Value, but Know What You're Getting

For the price, I think it's a great value--right off the interstate, within walking distance to Walgreens, the movie theater, Rural King, a great bakery, a great restaurant, and fast food and gas station options. Amenities: Refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, hair dryer, cable TV, okay wi-fi... The room was quite cold when we first got there (it was winter, and the heat was off), but we turned on the heat and it warmed up quickly. The shampoo and soap were pretty scanty and unremarkable, but the Walgreens is literally a 30 second walk away. They had a continental breakfast but we didn't go to it--from the looks of it, they had breakfast pastries, cereal, coffee, and juice. We had a king-sized bed, and it was comfortable--they also gave us about 6 pillows, which was good because they were a little thin. Cleanliness: The sheets and towels were clean, although the towels were pretty thin. The bathroom was clean. Staff: The staff was nice enough--we had minimal interactions with them and didn't use housekeeping in between nights. But they gave us fresh towels upon asking and seemed generally pleasant.
