We recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be very clean which is important to us. Both the main room and bath were a nice size. Nicely decorated. Only drawback was that it didn't have a microwave. Very easy on/off to the major highway. Staff was friendly and the breakfast had many items to choose from. Would stay at this hotel again.

Best experience yet, that we have had at a Holiday Inn Express. This one being the Clayton/Garner NC location. We had a room with two queen beds. The beds were very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was hot, not a cold continental. Very nice selection of food types. What made this stay even more pleasant was Becky, who was most pleasant in making sure that everything was kept refilled and fresh for breakfast service. Our room, which we had for four nights on the first floor, was kept perfectly. Our last day there, I went to the ice machine on the first floor and it was empty. I stated that I would just forget it and did not want to go up to another floor ice. Nancy, who had been servicing our room those 4 days, hear me and offered to go upstairs and get it for me, which she did. Now that is what I call Southern hospitality. Thank you Becky and Nancy for making our stay a pleasant experience.

I've stayed many Holiday Inn Express hotels and this one was actually quite good. Located near an intersection of the interstate, but it wasn't noisy or too busy. Also close to many good food outlets. Staff were friendly, and the rooms were of very good quality. Nice quiet air conditioning too.

Room 309 Friday, May, 12, 2017. Worst experience we have had in years, The good--1) the desk clerk when we checked in and when we left in the AM-- was excellent, she was very pleasant and concerned. 2) the breakfast room lady -- very conscientious 3) the room was clean and comfortable. The bad-- several rooms full of people including the one directly across from us (310 I believe) started with the loud talking in the hall and banging doors about 11PM. One loud drunk kept trying to get into the room with "the girls" and kept hollering at the top of his voice "let's go to the T-----y bar. After about 45 minutes of that I called the front desk and told the clerk that they needed to send some security to the third floor. She said they would. It sounded like they disbursed on there own but an hour later it started all over again. I again called the desk about 1;30 AM and said they needed to send security because the problem still is going on and it is very loud. The clerk said the manager was coming up. They didn't At about 2 AM the ruckus apparently woke up an infant in room 311 who then wailed non-stop for at least an hour. At 2:30 AM we considered just getting up and going home, however, we were concerned about running into some of them in the hall As Platinum Members we have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express' but this was the worst. Either the desk clerk was lying about sending the Manager OR the Manager just failed to do their duty. I'm sure we are not the only ones to lose a night sleep over this. Someone needs a strong reprimand.

We stayed while on our way to Raleigh to take my mom to doctor. Very nice hotel, staff was awesome and very convenient to Restaurants. Rooms were clean and breakfast was wonderful. Very. Nice location. We will be back I am sure.

Front desk staff was very nice, but slow with check-in. Parking is free and in only on two sides of the building due to location. Locate near plenty of food and gas stations. Good number of TV channels. Coffee maker and fridge in room. Small lobby and dinning area with breakfast 630-930 each morning. Bed was OK/Pillows were new. Ironing board and iron in room. Small fitness room(3 machines), with TV and scale in it. No laundry. 3Floors and 1 elevator. Would stay again.

I can honestly say I've never stayed at a hotel where the cleaning people appeared to work so hard and so long. I actually think this is one of the best things I've ever encountered staying in a hotel. Actually felt bad every day when I came back to my hotel room and it was so clean. It seems that someone on their cleaning staff was always busy working in the room changing out sheets changing out beddings and I loved it. It totally takes away those weird Vibes you have about wondering whether or not sheets are actually changed in between stays. All of the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I just really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I'm not a fan of hotels.

In town for a family wedding. Two night stay after just a week between two lengthy road trips. Stayed at a Holiday Inn in South Carolina the previous weekend. Block for family at this establishment. They tried to keep our rooms together. Easy, early ,checkins which is what I didn't experience in Santee, SC.Here they accomodated many of us arriving the day of and just hours before the wedding.Clean, comfortable rooms and bed. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was more than I expected as I usually skip them. The selection was great and the display was clean and inviting. Good location.

Kema was very helpful to us with our room reservations which were near each other on the same floor. We had a comfortable room with 2 queen beds and enjoyed the hospitality suite for our family celebration downstairs. The breakfast offered a decent variety and quality for us all to gather in the morning to get our day going. Cracker Barrel next door was a great choice for a really nice breakfast one morning.

We stayed here 2 nights and were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. The staff was friendly and efficient; the breakfast choices were plentiful and tasty; and our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I really don't know what more you could ask for in this type of establishment. Well done, HIE Clayton!
