The location of this hotel is great and the whole area with buildings and park beautiful. The room was also nice and clean, even though parts of the building needs mantenance, ex. walls. The price of a beer was crazy (95 dinar), and service mediocre except at the reception. The bar closes quickly and the selection of drinks so thin that it's strange even for a muslim country. They have a fantastic Hamam, but it was not working! I could use the pool, but most other functions were closed. Service was poor. Too bad because this could be a great place.
I had opportunity to stay there for 2 weeks. They have very qualified staff. I liked the quiet place in front of the ocean. I hope I'll get back to morocco and will definitely stay again in amphitrite. I really appreciated the cleanliness and the nice odor that you smell everywhere you go.[by the way I made searches to know the name of the perfume but unfortunately I failed, I hope if someone knows the name of the odor or the perfume could paste it here :) ]
Very beautiful place, in front of North Atlantic Ocean. Very beautiful. Thank you so much for their helps to Mrs. Mouna and Mr. Muhammed for help our team's accommodation. Everything was good. Just far away from city center but there are some free shuttles for this. Is is no problem.
This is a beach resort, that is a little tired. In winter, it was very quiet. The rooms are generous, with nice balconies. Breakfast is fine. The pool is good, yet probably crowded in summer. Being winter, we struggled to find anywhere outside the hotel to eat. Eventually found the yacht club to the north and had a very high quality meal. Recommended. Shkirat is a useful overnight stop off on the drive from Fes to Marrakesh. Otherwise, skip it if you can bear a 6 hour drive.
==Context== Was put up here when teaching a course at the nearby conference centre Was off-season ==Pros== Huge room Well appointed, although few power sockets Nice balcony Amazing views of the Atlantic from the restaurant Pool looked good Private beach Food good ==Cons== Felt very quiet Cat in restaurant at breakfast clambering over the bread baskets Felt awkward outside of hotel Very little to do outside of hotel Number of loose dogs wandering around outside Easy to reach Casablanca and Rabat from area ==Conclusions== Nice place to be put up Not sure that I would choose to stay there
Room + gym facilities: very good. Value for money in relation to room rates, restaurant prices and charges for other amenities was good for a 5 start hotel. The airport transfer provided by the hotel was operated by a driver that drove way above the speed limits on the highway and the sudden maneuvers he kept making got me dizzy by the time I go to the airport.
There is nothing wrong with the rooms, the location and the view. Matter of fact you are right at the beach at a beautiful spot. The bar personell is very friendly. Food is not great and most of the breakfast is not eatable for westerners that do not like to get sick. Ordered food and drinks are extremely expensive!!! They made us pay 8 euros (a cup) for bad coffee and pay 800 € for a meeting room that was absolutely not satisfactory.
Hotel is one of the best in the area. Especially beach is beautiful, pool is average but pool view is awesome. Rooms are clean and big enough, bathrooms are very big even the standart rooms are like suit rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful; but service is traditionally African slow. Reception is too slow; communication is not easy. Breakfast is good enough, seafood restaurant is not so good, but traditional restaurant is good, pool and beach bar are OK. Security is good. In summary I would recommend.
We were supposed to stay here one week and enjoy a beach vacation with spa facilities. However the hotel cancelled our stay less than 36 hours before we were supposed to arrive with no other information then a cancellation email. They told us several different stories about why they cancelled our stay, amongst other things, that the hotel were closed for royalties. When we showed up the hotel were full of tourists and they informed us about other hotels. We had to stay at an hotel 50 minutes away from the beach.... the service they have showed us has been terrible. We ask about daily pool and beach access at the hotel, and was granted this. But was informed in hinsight, that this would be charged. They expected ut to pay daily rates for pool access, which almost were the same as the price we booked a room for, that they cancelled, in addition to pay for the room at the other hotel without considering our 2hr drive to the beach eveyday. They completely ruined our vacation and still showed no understanding or customer service. This has showed us that you can not trust this hotel at all! Never experienced this poor service any other place!
If you are looking for beach front hotel with privet beach in Casablanca/Rabat region there is only one! This hotel is clean, nice fresh sea food, beautiful sea view rooms, polite and kind staff, nice restaurants, clean beach next to king palace.... I really enjoyed my stay there. Even though pricy but excellent place with reasonable nice golf course. Meriam from reception was excellent and also you should try Duck’s bar. The manager Mujtahid is always there to help. All and all high class!
