Hotel Quito

The hotel is a large business style hotel in a reasonable city location. The hotel reception area staff were generally professional, helpful and well trained. The rooms themselves are older and quite small with poor organisation of space - there are few plugs and the desk is occupied by TV etc with no room for other items. The rooms and the breakfast area restaurant do have a nice view. The pool area lacks shade and the pool itself is large and very deep and therefore is not suitable for poor swimmers. The exercise gym had older basic equipment and no helpful staff. There are some excellent local restaurants across the street from the hotel, well worth trying. The attractive tourist part of Quito is the Old Town which is a slow taxi ride from the hotel location in a business district.

Nice and clean room. Friendly staff. A short walk to down town. Amazing wiew from the resturant on the top of the hotel. Very delicious food in the resturant, not to expencive. I will recommend this hotel, we love outmr stay here

We enjoyed 2 nights here either side of a Galapagos trip and enjoyed both overnight stays. The first room was the best and was on the side with fabulous mountain views and overlooking the pool area. I loved that the room felt bright and light. The second was absolutely fine but had a street view and we were aware of traffic noise in the morning. Both rooms were a good size with comfortable beds. The internal sound proofing was good for a more modern hotel. We slept well. The staff were friendly and it was no problem to store luggage securely -a service we used twice as we also had a walking trip where only our rucksacks were needed. We ate in the seventh floor restaurant- again fantastic views that were especially beautiful on a clear sky night. The food was excellent and had veggie options. Breakfast was really good - lots of choice and fresh coffee.

Very clean and comfortable. Good service and a great view ( which is of course not rare in Quito) We stayed here 2 nights at the beginning of our trip and 2 nights in the end. Our first room was really far from elevators.

It was a great choice to go to Hotel Quito! The staff was extremely warm and helpful! It has stunning views from their restaurant and great pool facilities! It does need a bit of updating, but the overall experience for an event was great!

Excellent hotel with clean comfortable rooms with an excellent view overlooking Quito. Great dining options including a first-class breakfast buffet. The heated pool on the terrace is a great place to relax.

I stayed in an apt. Rental for $28 a day and it was very modern with amenities. Then moved to the hotel. I believe Hotel Quito asks around $120, and I just don't think it's a great value. Pool beautiful, views beautiful, staff friendly. Breakfast included was very nice. However, rooms, beds and bathrooms are very out dated. And no way to control temperature in rooms. I'd stay here again if rate was 50 less.

The cuisine options two blocks from Hotel Quito are second to none in the city. Have stayed here numerous times and have revisited several restaurants because they are great but if you want a new place every meal over an extended stay then this location is for you. The views are spectacular when not fogged in. Looking over Guapolo and on to the valley is photo-worthy.

Having never done an air B&B this has been a terrific experience. We are within the Hotel Quito's beautiful garden grounds at the end of the hotel rooms there are casitas with full kitchens and adjoining rooms with a shared living space, but separate bathrooms. The rooms are clean and neat. Perfect for our use on this trip.

This hotel is within walking distance of the old town so is an excellent location for exploring Quito on foot. The room was a good size and the staff were very helpful. The dining room is on the seventh floor and provides an amazing panoramic view of the city. There is also a large outdoor pool which is ideal for families.
