very helpful staff. Excellent location. great character/charm

The hotel is clean, staff is friendly, simple breakfast provided on roof top room with great views of the city. A verysimple but nice hotel in an ideal location for sight seeing

Great location next to great restaurants and la Ronda. The hotel was excellent in all aspects. Treated like family

Couldn't be better placed for exploring Quito's Old Town. Staff cheerfully overcame limited English to be extremely pleasant and helpful.

The personnel is very friendly. The rooms are clean, the only thing what bothered us was that you didn’t have windows to the outside, the windows opened to inside of the hotel, so the air circulation was not the best and also no air-condition. But everything else was very good. We enjoyed the stay in the old part of Quito.

The hotel is located near Central Square and is within walking distance to all the central activities and shops. The bed was comfortable enough and we had a very restful sleep. Tourist Office is a block away, Transit buses are readily available and there are tour operators in the immediate area. This is one of the most unique places we have stayed in our travels. We were please enought with this hotel that we re-booked a couple nights stay for our return from Quito.

Staff was always helpful and took care of all my needs. The room was adequate, nothing fancy, but clean and quiet and had internet, too. I would definitely recommend this delightful hotel.

When arriving a day late on a two night booking due to plane canceling we were told he did not have a booking confirmation he then proceeded to try to put us in a room with like a bed in a closet . Did get another room but not good . The Hotel was in a scary area to us. The highlight was an amazing view for morning brunch on the 4th floor.

Great value for your money. Nice and friendly staff. Hot water availability can be improved during peak time.

The main plus of the hotel is its location, very close to the Plaza Grand (where you find nice cafes and restaurants).. Another plus is that the hotel is fairly new (and a new bathroom is always a plus). The breakfast is good (but not excellent: it's buffet style and offers tea, coffee, milk, fresh fruit, bread, cheese, ham, jelly, and fruit juice). The bed was big and omfortable. Down side: not too clean. They don't sweep the floor during your stay, and the maid failed to replace a visibly dirty bathroom mat for a clean one). The receptionists were not really welcoming.

The hotel is located nicely in the Old Town section of Quito. There is good access to local sights. Hotel Botique Plaza Sucre is good value to your hotel dollar.

Rooms were very clean and very comfortable, a great nights rest. It is only a couple of blocks from some great restaurants serving local food and live music. There is tea and coffee available all day, the internet and nice comfortable common seating area. The only thing that has let this hotel down are some of the staff. Some are excellent and cant do enough to help you out or point you in the right direction. There was one in particular that seemed to let the side down and didnt go out of his way to be helpful at all. Sometimes a smile makes all the difference....

Good location, has good security, close to historic sites----good value.

Spent two nights upon arrival in Quito, Ecuador and then booked another night for two weeks later when we were leaving the country. Loved the location so close to the heart of the historical center. Loved the architecture, the yummy breakfast in the charming breakfast room, the art hanging on the walls, the colonial architecture in general and the comfy beds!

Sorry, but thats my only positive comment. I had to call front desk at 10;30 PM to please stop the noise.

I arrived late and was greeted by friendly and courteous staff. My room was ready, spotless and spacious. The room includes a full breakfast in the rooftop dining room overlooking the mountains around Quito. Breakfast included excellent coffee, fresh juices, cheese, breads, and fresh fruit. The location is excellent for walking to all of the sites in the historical old town. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good value accommodation in Quito. One final note and that is that I found the staff to be very friendly, courteous and helpful with all of my requests (directions, taxi, messages)

one night stay did not to get to enjoy the area. Had good first impressions and would stay again for the expierence. It is about 20 minutes to the airport without traffic.

It was good to be in this hotel because it is located very close the the core of Quito city. That helped me a lot. thanks
