Air condition in rooms but not main room but with bedroom doors open you could cool the main area. Friendly staff, Full size refrigerator, kitchen stocked well.

Great view of the ocean from the porch. That alone made it worth the stay. It's also within walking distance to a bus stop. It is very basic. The beds are uncomfortable. The noise from the restaurant and bar next door can go on fairly late.

Another nice stay

For the price, it’s a great place even though the mattresses and pillows have not been changed in years and linens barely stay in plays. It’s the views and the authentic tico charm that sells the place. Will always come back.

Home Away from "Home"

This was such a wonderful place to stay. The view from the balcony are amazing, as are the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The kitchen was also well stocked with supplies, which really came in handy, and I liked the German novel left by someone in the room. Uncomfortable bed

The bed had a hump in the middle of the bed, very difficult to sleep, the room was noisy because it was beside the road could hear all the cars and motorcycles all night. We were disappointed with our room , not what we expected for the price, this place was like a hostel not a lodge.

Great view of sea and sunset and we saw toucans and other birds from the large private patio. We had a large apartment with 2 rooms, spacious. Weird that it’s under the restaurant, but it was quiet and we slept well.

Nice views and the kitchen was convenient. Location was walkable to some stores and restaurants. On the negative, the beds were very saggy and the pillows terribly lumpy. There is no A/C in the main rooms (fortunately there is in the bedrooms). The fan was not working either - so very uncomfortable with 95 degree weather.

This was more like a hostel for young people and I did not feel safe at all with staying there with my wife and two small children. We ended up leaving the property the same day and had to walk the streets at night in rain to find a safe place to stay! I need the full amount paid refunded.

Honestly the property is not that bad but I do realized few things… the shower was not hot at all and our son had to take a cold shower, we tried to contact them via WhatsApp but they said it’s too late and the maintance is closed. But after we keep asking and telling them that our son is taking a cold shower, finally they send someone but it was too late then because my husband had to figure it out, but my son still took a shower because they were taking a while. The bed’s fitting sheet will not stay/doesn’t fit on the bed mattress, so I technically woke up sleeping directly on the mattress, the knife that I tried to use in the kitchen got detached from the handle so the sharp part of the knife was without a handle and that one of the face towels still have hair wrapped inside of it…

Great place to stay before visiting Manuel Antonio national park. Our room was probably the cheapest on the property and had no view, it's between the road and the lobby building. Restaurant on site (they offer you 25 % off because you stay there) but we didn't try it. We left very early in the morning. It was good because we just used the room to have a shower and sleep but I wouldn't recommend this room for a longer stay

Super comfortable bed, awesome shower and great AC in the deluxe room. The view was so peaceful and amazing. Good amount of space for parking. Didn’t try the restaurant (looked overpriced and meh), but the people were nice. Not the “safest” for walking but not because of thieves, it’s because it’s literally located off a curve and it’s a little dark and hard for cars to see in either direction. But we walked and didn’t get hit (used our phone flashlights to let people know we were there.) I would stay here again! I MEGA recommend it. So close to everything and so comfortable
