geicos everywhere... not really clean.. old ... no wifi access...

Beautiful little hotel, friendly staff. All the basic amenities, like wifi, air conditioning, pool and on site restaurant.

I loved the property. If your looking for 5 star go somewhere else. If your looking for spacious costa rican type room this is it. The restaurant in the hotel had delicious food, drinks and the free breakfast was great.

Awesome hotel if you get the ocean view, beware off any insects that may creep into your rooms from the door being left ajar.

We like the restaurant staff. Room we booked wasn't available. Need to update the bedding and mattresses.

They cheated us out of one room. We booked 2 rooms for $500 but gave us only one room. and made us pay for the 2nd room citing it was Expedia who took the money. They promised a partial refund which I am yet to see... Sorry state of affairs for having booked the rooms 3 months in advance.

The place looks nice from the outside, when you get there things look old and not looked after. The room was ok, the bathroom was way too small and I had to hunt a cockroach for like 15 min. I could hear the people from the room above walking around all night and day. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant nice, by the pool. The parking is too small, but there isn't much they can do about it. It was not a great experience, but it was ok.

Hotel could use some updating. Make sure people know there are lots of steps! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Make sure to take advantage of the included breakfast. Restaurant was very good and the pizza made in a pizza oven was excellent.

This place was incredible, it has it all. The view from the patio's are spectacular. The staff was amazing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The owners were very helpful with giving you tips about places to go and not to go. Oh yeah the La Colina Steakhouse has amazing food and drinks. The price for the stay are very reasonable as well as the restaurant.

Overall you get what you pay for. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the staff are excellent. The rooms have AC but are a little buggy.

Relaxing vibe, typical beach town motel, ac worked great but no TV. Perfect for our time frame and price range

Bad experience. On our first night, we discovered that there is live music at the hotel's outdoor bar every Wednesday. The music was OK, but it was extremely loud. Bar patrons congregated on the landing directly outside our room, making noise well into the night. On the second evening, the cracked toilet tank in our room cracked again. Water flooded everything on the floor. The initial staff response was to offer us extra towels and send housekeeping to mop up. With our toilet not functioning, staff directed us to use an outside public toilet at the hotel overnight. We asked for another alternative. Staff told us no other room was available at the hotel, nor at any nearby hotel. It was too late to go looking, so we stayed. Staff promised the toilet would be repaired the next morning. We left early on a tour. When we returned in the afternoon, the problem was not resolved. We had to wait outside for nearly two hours until the plumber repaired the toilet. Because we could not use our room, we had to change our afternoon plans. When we asked for consideration for the significant inconvenience, we were told the owner would refund one night's room rate. At no time during our stay did the owner talk with us directly. In fact, we had to wait a half hour for him to deliver the refund, thus delaying our departure. We watched him arrive, hand the money to staff 10 feet from us, and walk away without acknowledging us. Bad experience. We can't recommend this place to anyone.

The only positive about this hotel is the breakfast. Good choices and the food taste real good. Also the restaurant has an excellent cook and the food is delicious. Too bad they dont open for lunch.

We were not that impressed with our stay. Sheets on the bed were very thin and worn looking. Staff were average along with the breakfast. The pool was nice to relax and cool off.

Nice little hotel. Kids liked the pool. We drove our rental car, and parked it in the lot. Picked this place because most other hotels of comparable price were full. Friendly staff. Restaurant menu looked good, but we didn't eat there because we had leftover pizza from lunch. Wifi not good in our room. Had to use the balcony. Very small TV with cable - all Spanish (not digital TV). Downside was the climb up the stairs to the rooms.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Close to Manuel Antonio beaches and Quepos town. Many good restaurants are a walkable distance or a short cab ride away. Complimentary breakfast was good. Summary - A cost effective hotel at a great location for the budget traveler.

Please do not distribute false opinions. We received 2 reservations from Expedia and then one was cancelled. You did something wrong on Your side. We can charge virtual card and the day of checkin. We did not charge cancelled reservation.
