I cannot say enough about this wonderful place. I visited here in 2016 and returned again this February 2018. The staff is amazing, so helpful and accomodatingl with tour bookings and any questions you may have. The breakfast and coffee is really great the rest of the menu has a ton of great variety (but I would recomend the wood fire pizza, it is the best! lol) The bartenders are artists in their creations and if you give them the chance they can come up with some really yummy drinks. The views from the ocean view rooms are spectacular and the variety of wildlife is incredible. Taxis are cheap to go to the beach or to the town of Quepos. (about 3000crc or $6 USD) Many places within walking distance also, this hotel is very centrally located between the town and the beach. I have visited here twice and I will return should definately give this one a go. Pura Vida

This hotel is in a good location in between Quepos and the restaurants in Manuel Antonio. Each way is about 3000 Colonas by taxi or 315 Colonas bus. The restaurants in Manuel Antonio are also easy walking distance but the road is busy and does not have a hard shoulder to walk on. At night make sure you carry a light so you are visible to the traffic. Reception staff is helpful by booking taxis and tours and pointing you in the direction of independent activities like El Salto waterfall. The restaurant has a varied menu and does good wood fire pizzas. The rooms are large, not super clean and quite dated. Most of the tiles are damaged, the shower curtain is old, the bedding is synthetic, the water not always hot but the towel art is amazing. The views are great!

Booked this through and was so happy we chose to stay here. The place is right along the main road toward the top of the hill. Amazing views and cozy rooms. My friend and I instantly fell in love. There were only stairs, but we didn’t care. Our room was near the pool and bar which was perfect for us. Natasha and Mike are wonderful as well as the rest of their staff. The hotel is small but they made us feel right at home. Loved hearing stories about the area and getting recommendations on where to go. Can’t wait to come back! Will definitely recommend to anyone headed to this area. Bonus - only a short drive to the beach (which is easy to get to by bus too!)

Very professional and kind staff, they go the extra mile. They also had a live music act with two very skilled guys. This made our bar experience more complete as well. Happy to stay there, thanks guys!

We happened upon this gem in Manuel Antonio after a terrible experience with another property. Mike and Natasha were excellent hosts at this B&B. We stayed in room 11, which had a corner balcony and amazing canopy and ocean view. It was quite a climb to get there, but it was worth it to feel like we were waking up in a treehouse! Each morning, we were served a fresh and delicious breakfast and each evening we relaxed in the pool with 2 for 1 happy hour cocktails. Mike was kind enough to let us drink our craft beers we had purchased by the pool one evening. We dined at the steakhouse one night and were pleasantly surprised by the fresh wood fired pizza. During our stay, we also learned that Natasha is active with a local animal rescue group that raises funds to spay and neuter the stray animals in the area and rehome them. We would return again and again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

My husband and I stayed at this sweet hotel with our two sons, ages 7 and 9, in the off season. It's a simple place: no tv, no phone, lots of steps to get to the rooms. But the staff bent over backward to be kind to us - from making great recommendations for what to do in town, to packing us food to take with us on our adventures, to rushing our laundry when we needed it fast. The bar/restaurant is great, the views are breathtaking (pic below was from our deck) and we spent several lovely afternoons at the pool. When I remember Costa Rica, some of my nicest memories will live here.

We stayed for two nights. Our room had a great view and we were comfortable. The food in the hotel restaurant was great (breakfast and dinner). The hotel pool leaves a lot to be desired, as does the overall customer service at the hotel. The worst part of the stay was the uphill "hike" to the nearest bus stop to go down to the beach.

Nice Pool & Restaurant. Saw Scarlet macaws fly overhead. Kept clean, though probably could do with some minor updates. Owner was nice, and a nice retreat on the road between Quepos & Manuel Antonio. We stayed in the tree house room which felt like we were in a boat in the trees.

After living in Manual Antonio Costa Rica for many years my friend suggested pizza at La Colina. I didn't realize the hotel had an attached bar with a restaurant. I ask to build a specialize pizza. Veggies to include jalapeño, zucchini, black olives, fresh cheese and double the sauce. Bamb!! Perfection!! Many thanks for the professional service and the quality fresh ingredients. Best pizza in the area. 👍

We loved our stay at Hotel la Colina and would highly recommend this comfortable and unique hotel! Our room was really cool, decor was thoughtful, definitely had a personal touch. The restaurant has great food, especially the breakfast which is real food not the often skimpy milk and cereal you get in the U.S. But most impressive was the staff who were extremely helpful at every turn from making us a last minute dinner at closing time, helping us book a tour, ordering us food for delivery, and working to find us a good deal on transportation back to San Jose. Can not say enough good things!
