Excellent service . Room very clean . Good location . However little disappointed by the superior room . Quite small and no desk to work at , just a small table and uncomfortable chair . Overall felt more like a budget Ibis than a mercure.
Following an easyJet cancellation we were shipped here from Biarritz airport arriving 02:45. Check in did the very best they could and were as quick as possible. However, no breakfast...because we weren't expected, put on a few more non-Benelux eggs? Electricity turned off in our clean but smelly rooms mid morning so no tea/coffee...what! Pool closed. Generally, glad for the bed but a sub standard, tired hotel to be avoided.
Stayed here as a result of a cancelled flight from Biarritz (Easy Jet). Room clean enough, but very unhelpful staffing, and mega-basic. Not allowed breakfast, even though the hotel was all but empty, plenty of food available, also not allowed to pay for breakfast. Told to walk to the LeClerc or MacDonalds about 1.5 miles away. About as good as a substandard student halls, but a lot less fun.
The Mercure hotel was ok for an stopover on the way to Spain but it is very close to a busy road, traffic all night, hotel is ok but could do with a bit of tlc the air on in our room didn't seem to work which would have been nice so we could shut the window, breakfast fairly good
We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday evening and for both nights the hotel was very quiet. We had been proactively contacted by the hotel in advance of arriving to warn us that due to scheduled maintenance the kitchens would be closed on Sunday; however the breakfast service was unaffected. Our check-in recognised my status with Accor and we were given an upgrade to a superior room and a single welcome drink voucher. The superior room was not as large as some other properties but was still adequate. Breakfast on both mornings was as expected with a selection of cereal, breads, yogurt, meat and cheese, pastries, fruit, conserves, fruit juice. The only hiccup was that the fresh milk was off, and the restaurant staff hadn't noticed this, but were very apologetic and replaced it immediately. The lifts are a little small and a bit bouncy and some of the decor around the place is a little dated although it's all well maintained. Overall a trouble free stay.
The room is very small, no proper table for working. The pillow is a very cheap type and not comfortable at all. If sleeping quality is not important to you then this hotel is ok. Location is near the highway
This hotel about 6 kms from city centre although I was attending business meeting in one of the nearby multi national companies so was ideal. I have stayed her three times over the course of three years and the service never fails. Some what limited menu Åland it was good to see on this 3rd trip menu had changed for better. Staff extremely friendly and it seems as if nothing to much trouble. Not all staff spoke English so luckily I spoke Spanish and my French is very minimal. Rooms are little above average for budget hotel, although the corridor when you get out of lift can be deceiving as it needs a refurbish. I am sure I will be back again next year.
The hotel is just off the autoroute and very easy to find. Despite being so close to the toad, there is little noise noticeable and the room was very quiet. The bar and restaurant are good and the terrace was surprisingly peaceful. Service was good. To get into the centre of town is not at all difficult and the staff were helpful in pointing out places of interest.
This is a business hotel but the staff made the holiday we spent there very enjoyable with attentive and prompt and efficient attention to all our needs. About 3 miles from the centre of Pau but an easy drive to the sights of Pay and despite being close to the motorway was a quiet location. We spent the days seeing the area and the Grottes at Betharram and the Don Jon Des Aigles are a must. Probably the best Caves we have seen and the Aigles was an excellent produced show, neither expensive
This Mercure is close to the autoroute and has easy access to local attractions. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and the catering was excellent. As with all Accor hotels the room was comfortable and the beds good.
