The room was perfect for my last-minute getaway. Clean room, very comfortable bed, and the in-room hammock was a fun amenity. Great location, close to the beach and the Los Muertos Beach Pier. The hill location was good exercise for me!

The hotel sits comfortably within the original design of the Zona Romántica. It might not be the most modern, and the lack of a lift might be of issue to some with mobility issues, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. The room we had was incredibly comfortable, with a good beg, clean shower and nice fittings. What was also a nice touch was having fire sticks rather than transitional TV which meant we could access more English programmes than we normally can when abroad. The rooftop pool area is really nice and has great views of the bay. The only downsides are that in an afternoon, music goes on poolside and it felt far too loud for the amount of people on the deck. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially helping us out when our flight was cancelled by AeroMéxico - and for that we cannot thank them enough.

Some nkted on things I loved about this hotel. Thank you to all of the Amaca staff!! I had a wonderful time! Review about Amaca and how special it is as a yoga retreat for solo getaway travelers and lowkey rooftop preparty vibes: Welcoming, kinda, friendly and patient staff Cool and warm color schemes and traditional white stucco walls for traditional and unique boutique charm Very chill vibes. Hot coffee in mornings. Veranda for cafe/reading quite space/patio Chill yet upbeat music on rooftop provided by excellent conversationalist bartender Pool is the best. Smaller but clean cool and refreshing - that’s all you need. Picturesque views of the sunset and ocean and mountain horizons Yoga and stretching pad to admire the views Inclusive staff that welcomes all people and humors guests by folding origami and getting to know each other.

It was our first time on Amaca, the location of it is so close to everything. Restaurants, bars and shopping centres. We got the partial ocean view room was clean and the view from the balcony was amazing half to the 200 and half to the ocean. The people who work there are so friendly and helpful, you got free coffee at the kitchen beside the lobby. We will be back for sure.

Hotel Amaca is a find! I've been going to Puerto Vallarta for 42 years and this is a great place to stay. Centrally located with a wonderful staff and beautiful views from on top of the hill I'll definitely book again. I have a new favorite place to stay in PV! Thanks to the desk staff Alfonso and rooftop bartender Memo and the wonderful senoras who are the maids at Amaca

I had the top floor room by the bar and pool area. The room had 2 private bedrooms with the master having a en-suite one; truly was awesome and the views were amazing! The staff were always friendly and the bartender always remembered your drink order. Overall this hotel made ten days in PV seem like I was home!
