The Omni is in a great location with a nice beach and pool with a swim up bar. The room was nice and very clean and the staff are fantastic. Definitely recommend

I love Puerto Aventuras and the Omni is a perfect place to stay. If you are looking for a place to really kick back and relax this is it. You can eat right at the hotel and the food is great or go steps away to many quaint restaurants.

Everything about this study was excellent except for the management of the restaurant. The wait staff were friendly, and very attentive. The manager was not truthful, told you what you wanted to hear, and did nothing. It was also obvious that he expected the same from his wait staff, fortunately they ignored that. As an example, the indoor part of the restaurant was fully capable of being air conditioned. We were told that would happen several times. It never did. Others complained as well. The restaurant opens at 7 am, and we tried to order quickly so we could make the pickup for a tour. The manager stalled and said nothing could happen for 20 minutes. We left without breakfast, but were charged anyway. The hotel did correct that with no difficulties. Would I go back? Absolutely. Everything else was really great.

One of the nicest and most relaxing places in the area. The are not many nicer beaches in Riviera Maya -- great snorkeling and bathing areas. However, Service could use some brushing up. While the staff means well, they really need some training. They are very uninformed about menu items, policies, etc. but again very polite.

The Omni Puerto Aventuras is a small and very nice hotel. I have been visiting since 2000 and every time the room, staff and the entire area of Puerto Aventuras has provided such a wonderful place to visit. If you are looking for something quiet, outside of the busy Cancun or even Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras is for you. The view from the restaurant is so relaxing!!

the hotel was beautiful and very clean with a great waitstaff and a very beautiful beach, but the town of puerto aventuras is an odd new creation that itself is closed off (had to go through gates to get into the town). it's expensive to leave the town and not much to do in it. so if you want to just hang out at the beach and in the pool within a 100 meter radius of the hotel then it's great, but i think probably better for older couples -- there were lots of those. included breakfast was really delicious though, one of the best hotel breakfasts ive had. also everything in the resort shuts down at 6pm (the swim up bar, etc) aside from the restaurant and lobby bar, and the whole town shuts down at 11pm.

Great resort for the price. Incredible snorkeling walking distance from the pool, to the beach, past the rocks in the sea. Continental breakfast included, plus you can upgrade to a traditional Mexican or American breakfast for a minor fee. Jacuzzi in all the hotel rooms. My wife, baby and I had a great time here. A small puerto that is hidden away from Playa del Carmen and Tulum.

very good staff, good meals, good beach! I think this hotel is very silent and good to rest for whole family.

Staff was Great!! From receptionist to janitor to restaurant staff to housekeeping. Everyone treated us like family. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

Nice enough hotel, interesting location, front desk staff left something to be desired. Glad we stayed because Puerta Aventuras was fun for a couple of days and the spa on the balcony was cool. But they charge for everything, there's not much beach and we probably won't go back. Just not that much value for the money.

I have been staying at the Omni since 2000 and have always had a very nice stay. The room is always clean and they have updated them and are just great. The food at the restaurant is worth staying at the resort to ear, and the wait staff is very friendly and remember you after just one visit. The best dive shop is on the premises, Dive Aventuras. So if you are looking for diving that is just a five minute boat ride away, and a very knowledgeable and responsible staff, or to take another class or two to become a better diver, this is the place for you.

Nice little area, secluded & quiet, rooms were clean, beware of the mini bar items, you will be charged, we thought they were complimentary till we saw the small price list. They even will charge you charge for the playing cards.We ran into quite a language barrier. The biggest problem was at our early morning checkout, the man at the front desk did'nt have a clue on how to handle our check-out, even after making a phone call , he still was completely lost.

My sister and I returned to this hotel after a stay last year and were just as pleased with our experience this year. It is relatively small (30 rooms), with just one restaurant and no gift shop, but we appreciate the intimate environment and the opportunity to interact with the same staff again and again. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and have an outdoor deck with a hot tub and hammock. (I would recommend avoiding marina view rooms because the marina is filled with restaurants and an outdoor karaoke bar. Enough said.) The beach outside the hotel is quite small but we enjoyed laying by the pool. The restaurant is lovely, right on the water, with both outdoor and indoor seating and the food - especially breakfast - is fantastic. We will likely return.
