Truck broke down as we were traveling home and we found ourselves sidelined in princeton, kentucky. Stayed at one of two hotels in Princeton, the Stratton Inn. And how lucky we were to find a gem!!! A little dated with jewel tone decorations but I wouldn't trade anything for the cleanliness of the place. Even the corners in the bathroom are spotless!!!. Appointments include iron an ironing board , microwave, small fridge and freezer. Plenty of lighting, clean, clean carpet, even slept all night without walking. One exception I do have is the pillows definitely could be replaced, they were clean , but very flat. Overall, a great place we will stay again!! Good news, the vehicle has been fixed, LOL, off we Zazago!!

Loved mu stay at Stratton, the owners were very nice. We were in town and reserved online about an hour before we showed up. At first there was a mix up where they put us in the wrong room but I went back to the desk and it was a quick fix. Great water pressure as well.

Trip Advisor lists price as $47 but he paid $59 on a visa gift card. She tried to say he owed another $8.10 so we had to call the 800 number on the card so she could listen to the balance. Tried to get us to pay cash and then she would refund his card. We refused and asked for a refund on card and we would just leave. She then said that everything was ok. We got to the room to find hair and blood on one of the pillows and only one channel on TV! We just returned the key and left! What a waste of money!! Buyer beware!

This is the one of the best hotel in town! Rooms was so clean, cool and comfortable. Staff were very nice..Location was nice, easy to get in and out from interstate. They have a free breakfast, mostly the usual stuff for this type of hotel. I recommend this hotel if you're looking for a good value and can do without all the frills. The fridge was cold, flat screen tv offered plenty of channels and WiFi worked consistently.

Clean and comfortable room. However a clogged toilet dominated our opinions of the place. There was a plunger next to the toilet so we could unclog it without having to call management in the middle of the night. We also paid an inflated rate to view the eclipse, and I guess this was ok. However to stay the 2 remaining hours until the eclipse occurred incurred an additional $30 fee.

This place was absolutely NASTY had hair on the bed and not just hair from on top of your head. We checked the third room and they were all the same. Had paid for 2 nights and they absolutely refused to give my money back. I'm planning another trip to that area and I will definitely drive the few miles to the next town for a hotel

We were visiting Princeton for family reunion and stayed here. The staff were very friends room was very very clean and spacious. Bed were very comfortable and building, grounds big parking look very well maintained. Breakfast was yummy as well. If I ever pass this way again I will defiantly stay at this hotel. Thank you STRATTON INN!!!!

The worst motel ever ! I paid for a week. And left after 4 nights ! At first I didn't mind it. Seemed very clean at first. Right off the bat when I first was bringing all my stuff in my room. The owner this creepy old man kept staring at me and just wouldn't stop, I was so scared and creeped out. Any time I would go to my car or go out side for any reason he would just STAIR !! He came to my hotel room and knocked on the door multiple times just for any excuse he could find I finally got so creeped out and scared I just left. Not safe for any girls!!

I really enjoyed this beautiful hotel everything was perfect . Was at this hotel with my kids. Very clean, front desk staff polite and helpful...It is close to restaurants, shopping and groceries! We ended up extending our stay because the accommodations were so comfy. You will not regret staying here. It was an enjoyable experience and we shall return! Thank you for a memorable stay!

There are not too many choices of hotels in Princeton, but the Stratton inn was always an ok place to stay when visiting family. I was disappointed this trip. They put us in the very back building which is very run down and every room smells heavily of cigarette smoke. The light fixtures did not all work and the bathroom light is very dim. The beds were ok and appeared clean. I will say that the lobby is tastefully decorated and the front desk staff was nice enough to help me find a room with less cigarette odor. Will probably look for another choice when visiting family
