A great location for shopping and the ferry port. The parking facilities are a real bonus too. Staff were helpful and friendly making sure we were well informed about amenities

The room was ok but tired. The mattress was awful and not suitable for two people. The sofa mattress for my son was even worse! The carpets were stained and tired. There is no table to put things or work from. There are only USB ports by the bed, not actual plugs which is a nightmare if you have equipment that needs plugging in next to you. The pillows were also awful, very lumpy and uncomfortable. Shame as everything else was the usual Holiday Inn standard. Location is amazing for Gunwharf/Historic dockyard/Gosport/IoW ferries.

Great service at check in, asked if late check out was possible & instantly offered complimentary 1pm check out time which was perfect for us. We were also advised that the hotel was full (it was NYE) so breakfast would be busy the next morning, we were advised we could take breakfast up to our room to eat which was a brilliant idea as there was no where to sit when we came down but happily took our food to our room & made the most of our late check out time. The room was comfortable for one night & on the 3rd floor at the end of the corridor (room 339) was very quiet even on a busy night in the hotel. Car parking was free in the main Gunwharf shopping car park for 24 hrs if you validate your car parking ticket at reception & you can also get a discount in some shops & restaurants when staying at the hotel. We would happily stay here again.

The room was great, with an oblique view of the Spinnaker tower. It was quiet and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so friendly and attentive, from front of house to the cleaning staff, the breakfast crew, everyone. We would definitely stay again.
