Exceptional property! Heatherland looks like it came out of the pages of a storybook. Perfect location to explore Skye from! The cottage was super clean, roomy, very quiet, with views for miles and miles. We would strongly recommend Heatherland to anyone travelling to Skye.

We loved it. Absolutely adorable. Could live there if it were only one or two of us. Owner came right over when we needed some assistance. It’s very small, especially the kitchen, but very functional. The beds were a bit uncomfortable. The twin beds were slanted so felt like you would roll off the bed. The large bed was small for taller, heavier people. The floors and stairs were very squeaky but that’s part of having wood floors. The kitchen chairs need to be tightened and the sofa was too hard. The shower/bath was low pressure and the warmth of the water was iffy, but that could have been us or just being in a remote location. Beautiful lavatory. The views were amazing. Despite some little things as mentioned, we loved it there and would return again in a heartbeat.
