I was very disappointed by my stay at this hotel. I booked 3 nights there and specified that i wanted a double bed or king bed if avalable, and the shocking surprise came when I did the checkin : This hotel has only one double bed and the room is booked. I did a reservation a month before and their client service assured me that it would be available. The staff was very cold and not very helpful, which is bad because they have a great hotel and infrastructure, especially their lobby. The rooms are normal, the beds are not that comfy. The swimming pool is nice and the jacuzzi also even if its very small for the whole hotel. Breakfast was good. Definitely not worth the price i paid.

Accommodated in a 19 storey tower near the Campo 24 de Agosto Metro station. Part of a large urban renewal project begun 10 years ago, and much of it unfinished, the hotel is well worth a stay. There is a large indoor pool and sauna/spar facilities on the top floor with great views. Spacious public areas with a bar on the ground floor and a modern bright restaurant on the second floor. Spacious well equipped bedroom with great views and express lifts. Attentive, friendly staff, this is an ideal place to stay in Porto and is convenient for the Metro and taxis.

Nice welcome and a well appointed hotel. Slept well...nice breakfast with lots of choice. Part of a voyage prive deal. On 14th floor, bit scary but less road noise. A bit nervous approaching at night but concern so far unfounded

This was our second trip to Porto. We enjoyed both the city and hotel. The hotel room was spacious, quiet, had a comfortable bed, and a good shower with plenty of hot water and strong pressure. We were on a tour that only stayed one night with a scheduled event but the city has plenty to offer and this hotel puts you in the center of Porto. Breakfast bar has plenty of options. Hospitality of the Portuguese people is simply wonderful. Got a great night's rest. Wished we could have stayed longer.

hotel rooms are ok. views from my window terrible. Band of pollution across the skies. clean but dark. No outdoor space to sit or to view anything nice. Had to sit on a concrete block in an empty square with dog poop and cigarette butts on the floor. surrounding units empty and dirty. Surrounding area very busy traffic. Staff are efficient but not overly friendly. Buffet food is mediocre.

We’ve stayed in several hotels throughout Portugal, and this one is at the bottom of our list. Be prepared for long waits at the elevator, a poorly managed breakfast buffet, and a 2.5 Euro charge to rent a lock for your room safe. On top of this, the surrounding neighborhood is a bit sketchy at night. If you have options, I suggest staying somewhere else.

Very tall building near to all the activities of the town. Hotel was nice but Porto seemed pretty dirty. People of the town seemed very downtrodden. In general, the hotel staff seemed to reflect the area. Very few smiles - just a job attitude - do not go out of their way to make the visit enjoyable.

First, the location is very close to transportation, both the subway and especially the main bus terminal. There are a couple of ok restaurants close, but otherwise very little. Grocery across the street. You are about 2-3 km from the more glamorous areas. The bed and pillow were good, room quiet. The pool/spa are very good for the hotel level. There was no room safe and the furniture was the worst I've ever seen, although there was a desk to work on.

Here for two nights as part of a Trafalgar Portugal tour and this is one of our stops. This hotel is very modern with a very robust air conditioning which is very important to someone from Canada. The buffet breakfast was very good. I don't know much about the rates as we are on a packaged trip. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone

Very large highrise and impersonal hotel. Lots of tourbuses carry large groups in and out, so its popular with bus tours. A 25 minute uphill walk to the attractions. There is no restaurant or bars in the immediate area, a big long distance bus station nearby. They need to fix the key card system. I had to go to reception 5 times during stay of 1 week to get my key card reprogrammed when it locked me out of room. Overall the room was comfortable and bathroom also. I asked for a kettle as I was staying one week. After the first night, the room cleaning staff took it away , so no more tea for me. Its the little impersonal things like that. No milk provided. Reception advised on arrival that we would probably need a taxi every night, as villa nova is steep 25 minute walk. Their description on booking sites does not make this adequately clear. I wish I had picked somewhere closer to the centre and somewhere smaller with a personal touch. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, facilities are all okay, just not for my preferences. So if the walk is not a problem, and if you prefer big hotels, it could be for you.
