You get what you pay for. Rough and ready but hot water, clean sheets and easy walking access to the wonderful city. Not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility issues. Not much English but welcoming. Squeaky beds so not the best for a honeymoon 😂😜

Excellent value, great location.

Great value choice. Room was bigger that expected with a full size wardrobe and small desk/stool. We had a private bathroom which included a bidet and shower. Plenty of hot water & good pressure. No hairdryer in the room but we were supplied one on request. Marina at the desk was perfectly pleasant. Amazing location, slightly noisy as we were facing the street but we always bring earplugs anyway!

The place is older, somewhat tired, and the shower is shared amongst the guests (which is an issue for some). Good location and price. Wifi was good. Must walk up a flight of stairs to get to the hotel.

Definitely stay here!

The staff were so accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect! I would definitely stay here again without hesitation! As a fitness competitor I have a lot of my meal prep with me, they allowed me to use their staff fridge for that! Great little coffee machine in the front entrance along with free umbrellas to borrow if it’s raining!

Good budget stay

The place is located at a great location, very close to a lot of the attractions. It's not the luxury type of stay, room is small, smells a bit, could be quite noisy at night because it's right next to Igreja Do Carmo. and lots of skater outside. Host is friendly. Overall I enjoyed my stay as I was looking for a convenient location and the price is good for one person room.
