Beautiful Port

We just stayed a week in Porto. We chose this property based on its proximity to the Conservatory of Music and the Casa da Musica. The property is about 2 kilometers from the Old Town, but the walk is very doable and you get a great sense of the greater city. There is a large food court within two blocks (at the Hotel da Musica) with a great variety of food. Also good shopping close. The room was very comfortable. Property managers were very helpful when there was a mistake (my mistake) on the reservation and it was resolved very quickly. Also very affordable.

Various issues around cleanliness and condition of flat/apartment. 1) my wife has ended up taking antihistamines due to the sofa in the apartment… her skin condition was getting worse over the days we were there, and we broke it down to it being the sofa as it was not clean. This is a serious issue and I would urge the owner/landlord to look into this matter urgently 2) every morning we were woken up by renovation work taking place in the building. Drilling works and banging would start around 8-9am every day. 3) the shower unit leaked (due to sliding door hanging off) and we had to constantly wipe up pools of water outside of the shower. 4) general cleanliness of the hard flooring… it was really dirty
