No frills, the room was clean but the TV did not work and you had to unplug the mini-fridge if you wanted to use the microwave.

Property was close to shopping. Breakfast was nice touch.

Great bath room fantastic view beautiful grass quiet

Pretty clean and quiet . Reasonable location and I will stay here again.

The low price is the attraction here. The location is also good. The people are nice but the place is old and worn. The biggest problem has to do with the TV that does not get local channels and is difficult to tune.

Modest but clean and comfortable. Just a few minutes from Freeport shopping and LL Bean flagship store; easy 15-minute drive into heart of Portland. I've stayed several times. Warning: If you want some pancakes and baked goods for breakfast in the lobby, don't dawdle. If service ends at 9 AM, they don't mean 9:01!

Very nice staff and fine room; we'll stay again! Small things: the bathroom door sqeaked horribly-a little oil would fix that. Your brochure rack could use some basic maps of the freeport outlets-we couldn't find any there. And a few yogurts in the free breakfast would be even better. Otherwise; all good.

The room was an absolute icebox when we got there. Had to turn off system and have the door open. Hair on the towels. DISGUSTING. The bathroom door didn't close, so we had zero privacy. Overall, I would never go here again. If i could get my money refunded, I would love that.

I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. The room was amazing, and the staff were super nice.

Was told at check-in that pet room was wanted. That was not correct. I had no pet and could not imagine being in a room listed as pet room. Was told they only had 2nd floor 2 double beds available at that time. We were both physically not wanting to have stairs to climb but of the options offered, took the 2nd floor room. It was a problem for both of us to go up and down the stairs.

Really really gross. Dirty mirror, bathroom floor was atrocious! Never again Econolodge.

One of the few places that will allows dogs, for a very reasonable $10 per night. Hotel is clean, staff is very friendly, place is quiet. Good, inexpensive place to spend a night.

Beds could be upgraded but they were still comfortable. Room had a very strong perfumey smell when we came in. Other than that it was clean.

Room was dark, terribly dirty bathroom, bathroom fixtures were in bad repair. The people at the desk--female at night was not very friendly and seemed to "care less" about making us feel welcome. The male at the desk in the morning was equally non-expressive. The bathroom was not acceptable--hair all over the floor--could be seen the minute the light went on. I doubt that the floor had been cleaned in weeks!! If I hadn't been so tired, I would have notified the front desk immediately; however, as "indifferent" as this woman appeared I have my doubts she would have done anything. In general, this hotel simply was a real disappointment.

Maybe they don't get many minorities. Checked in on a Tuesday for one night. Lady at the front desk only said to me what the rules are and the basics such as "keep your cell phone away from room card, check out is at 11, Sign and initial this form etc. " She was very abrupt, no smile and seemingly, no personality. Thought maybe just the typical Mainer; no frills, no thrills, so no big deal. Came back down to the lobby 10 minutes later for an iron because there was none in the room, the same front desk clerk checking in a couple. This time she was extremely courteous, "Breakfast is served from...., help yourself to the newspapers in the lobby" etc. and with a smile. A 180 degree difference. I thought to myself, "Wow, It would have been nice to know those things." I got the same uncourteous notion from the gentlemen at the front desk upon check out also.

check in staff were fine and quick. Room was disgusting, smelled like smoke, bedding was awful and lumpy Chairs dirty and definitely needed a paint job No microwave in room or in the breakfast area no coffee left for coffeemaker in room

When we arrived the evening person was very nice. However when we left the daytime person was rude. The room was small for 3 people. The room was not clean. The bathroom faucet was lose. You didn't have any room to dress in the bathroom. The breakfast was very disappointing. I would have thought that the place would be better seeing it is in a tourist town. I will never stay again

The room key card was a disaster. I made three trips to get rekeyed before I heard you can't have it near your phone or in your wallet. Either state that upfront or get new equipment.
