DETAILS: Incredible beach views! Piper’s Nest is a Gulf-front 6-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom Cape San Blas home with private beach access that sleeps 16. This beautiful beachfront home has an elevator, 3 Gulf-front balconies, and access to a community pool.
Guests may park in the driveway or underneath the home. A gas grill and an enclosed outdoor shower are next to a private boardwalk leading to the dune walkover. Guests can access the home by elevator or interior or exterior stairs. A large neighborhood pool is located nearby.
On the second floor are 3 guest bedrooms and a bunk room. The colorful bunkroom has 2 twin- over-twin bunk beds and shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a guest bedroom with a king-size bed. The additional 2 guest bedrooms both have hardwood floors, king beds, private bathrooms with shower/jetted-tub combos, and large sliding glass doors that open to a Gulf-front balcony with incredible views!
The third floor’s open living, kitchen, and dining space enjoys lots of natural light and soothing Gulf views from multiple sliding glass doors that open to a Gulf-front balcony. The spacious kitchen includes a wine chiller, an island with a prep sink, and counter-seating for 4. A dining table with space for everyone and a sizeable wrap-around chaise sofa enjoy gorgeous Gulf views. Behind the living area are a game room with a foosball table, a couch, and an additional TV that opens to a guest bedroom with a king bed.
Guests staying in the primary bedroom will have the fourth floor all to themselves! A roomy home office has a double desk, a queen sleeper sofa, and a private balcony with views of the Bay. The primary bedroom has incredible Gulf views from double sliding glass doors. It’s a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee or to sit and stargaze in the evening. The comfortable bedroom includes a king bed, an additional sofa, and a private bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower.

Elevator was not in use-or not allowed to use. Key spot was not disclosed clearly, which is not the owners vault, we eventually found it, and I gave them pics so that it won’t cause strife for others. Tons of stairs with my dad being elderly- is only reason why it got 4 stars.
Stairs required (2 or 4 flights) just to get to living room. 3 levels. Absolutely beautiful view. Lovely porch. The top level was super romantic. Only negative was making us work out, which is not bad. Pool across the street was nice, friendly neighborhood. Right on the beach. Big couch great for families. Had a wash down area for sand, much appreciated. 2 fridges appreciated. Excellent pots and pans, knives, etc I cooked most of the time, and appreciated it so, so much!
We got so many scallops. We made memories to last a lifetime here, and everyone loved the house. If the elevator worked, I would have given 5 stars. Beautiful home, with a breathtaking view and excellent location.

Successful vacation
The property was just as it was represented and the floor plan worked great for our group of 11. Had a few issues with the dishwasher and ice machine and both were tended to. The house was across the street from the general store and an easy walk or bike ride to the Trading Post. Our only disappointment was the double red flags we had for the duration of our stay.

Pro’s and Con’s / READ about this property (and WHY IS OT LISTED ON VRBO
The house itself is great. But if you intend to share your vacation with another family, one of you will get screwed. The master brm is on the top floor and yields tons of wasted space but has a great bathroom. The 3rd floor is the kitchen, dining, family, game and guest room (s). It has a tiny half bath (your knees hit the wall), so whoever is staying in that bedroom must use a bathroom on a different floor.

Lovely Christmas at Cape San Blas
Had not been to Cape San Blas since I wax a child! Decided on this area for our family Christmas gathering this year and could not be happier! Sunsets are unbeatable and location on the beach was wonderful. 360 office was very good and responsive when the hard freeze caused the outdoor shower pipes to freeze and crack open. Love this area of the Gulf coast!
