What a place! So clean and exceptionally well maintained. Plentiful facilities (AC in each room, large refrigerator, dishwasher with many available tablets, hotel fresh bedding, comfy couch, as-new terrace furniture, washer & dryer). Lagoon warm pool and a lovely BBQ space with small refrigerator & clean/fresh poolside furnishings (the owners have really thought of everything you could need & more!) Love the massive terrace looking to the lush treetops (top floor, room 9); super quiet location & hop skip jump to the beach! Will be our #1 recommend place to stay when visiting Port Douglas!

This was a great place to stay in Port Douglas. So close to the beach and walking distance to the shops. The owners were so helpful and made it really easy to check in. The accomodation was perfect with everything we needed. Would definitely book again.

Ideal Location

An ideal location for Port Douglas centre. Manager, Tony was very helpful and easy communication. Our apartment was on the ground floor next to the pool and consequently was noisy at times. The apartment was comfortable with all the necessary facilities for our stay. A couple of minor issues though, the WiFi was not the best, unusable at times and the satellite TV lost the signal frequently. Understandable given the location but none the less frustrating, as our time in PD was the only occasion on our extended trip round Oz that I wanted to watch sport on the TV. Overall though if you are looking for an ideally located and comfortable apartment in PD then the White House is perfect.

The place has been extensively refurbished and it very comfortable. Its proximity to the beach was great as it was only about 2 minutes walk away. The BBQ was good and being able to have breakfast and lunch on the balcony was a real bonus. Highly recommended
