My wife and i stayed at the Meridian Port Douglas in November this year. Our room was awesome. Our room had pool access from the bedroom. Very clean bathroom and a nice big bed. Staff were very friendly, and even let us use the facilities there on our checkout, while we waited for our coach back to Cairns. We will definitely book with them again next year. Also, adults only was a plus! Cheers!

Access to room was a minefield. Room was very ordinary with nowhere for soap etc in shower. Staff couldn’t care less until I expressed our feelings very forcefully. Definitely not a 4.5 luxury hotel

Great location just a 2 minute walk to the main shopping/bars/restaurants yet still very quiet at night. The one bedroom on the first floor (11A) was fantastic with a large balcony. Great pool area and the property is immaculately kept. The addition on laundry facilities and underground parking were a great additional touch - certainly would recommend

Busy time of year. But it was adults only and most guests understood that meant being quiet - but sadly there was one noisy group that at times spoilt the peace. I don't know what you can do about that though.

This was one of the best properties that I have stayed at. Pool was lovely, clean tidy apartment really well maintained and operated property. Helpful reception team. Room was comfortable, clean, well set up. Parking was easy and secure under the building. Right in the centre of town walking distance to all amenities and the beach. My only tiny negative was the road noise. Port Douglas is a great place to stay and this property is a great place to have a relaxing holiday.

Great location , staff very helpful on check-in and room clean. However the bed was so soft it was like sleeping in a hammock . Also room not serviced for a 3 night stay , not even fresh towels. The bed was the real down fall but otherwise we were happy

Loved the close proximity to the main drag. Staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful, room clean and tidy, pool well kept, we used it daily! As an older lady with arthritic knees and feet, struggled to get out of the pool with the narrow steps on the ladder, and couldn't use the Spa as couldn't get out without difficulty.
