So So at Shantara

Our room was quite small on 2nd floor, but would have been more spacious without a round glass table & 2 chairs between bed and balcony doors. TV was installed on kitchen bench so only half of bench was able to used. I dropped an apple, which rolled under the bed, and was apalled to see how dirty it was under the bed. Plastic bag, thick dust and other bits of rubbish from prior guests. Obviously no cleaning checks in place. Pools also needed deep cleaning or repainting as had brown patches on bottom. For the number of units there was a lack of sunloungers, only the units on ground floor were catered for. Noisy when guests were outside on decks as you could hear conversations when balcony doors open, which we did not want to do day and night. Staff were helpful and friendly and the overall look of the property was great.

Excellent property, great pools, very smart. Our room was a bit small and the TV was pretty hopeless - we couldn’t cast to it so the range of programming was very limited. But overall a lovely place.

The room was amazing and clean, had everything we needed, extra towels, a kitchenette, microwave oven, tea and coffee. Also a very beautiful view of one of the pools, sounds of birds singing, water fall and a nice breeze when sitting on the balcony. Couldn’t be better than this. Thank you 😊

We can’t fault the location and the pool (there’s two) is heated beautifully and everything is very clean. We stayed in the top floor one bedroom apartment, the kitchen equipment is a little lacking and very basic, missed not having an oven or even air fryer. We also struggled to get any pool time as there’s only about 8 loungers and they were occupied most of the time. The complex is a little in need of some maintenance (broken and missing tiles etc). Otherwise we loved our stay (second time here)

We had a 1 bedroom apartment that overlooked the pool and bbq area, that was really great having breakfast out there most mornings. Seeing the cockatoos flying home every night was amazing too. Very spacious and modern apartment. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Not too far to walk to the beach or the shops which made it handy. Amazing place, can't wait to go back.

Had a fantastic time, loved the location and the pool. Only downside would be the wifi being so weak that it kept dropping out. Also the floors being concrete somebody upstairs kept stomping around and dragging furniture about. Very strange. Overall would definitely stay again.
