We stayed as a couple in February and we loved every minute of our stay. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. Andrew helped us book our day on the great barrier reef and an excursion in the Daintree forest. We were very grateful as we left it at the last minute but thanks to him we managed to do all we wanted! Overall all staff members were very attentive and professional. I had mentioned that it was our anniversary when I booked the transfers through the hotel and they put a nice bottle of prosecco in the room for us to enjoy when we checked in! Very nice touch. The pool is fantastic and has a lovely sandy beach, it can get quite busy but it's still great. Going in February meant that it was very quiet, which was an advantage as there aren't as many kids around so the resort was nice and quiet. The location of the hotel is very convenient for access to the marina, restaurants, the beach and the various shops. We stayed in the SPA room, which has a hot tub on the balcony. The room is very comfortable and it was very clean. We would book the SPA room again, it is worth paying extra for the hot tub. Breakfast was delicious, very varied and a lot of nice fresh fruit and pastries. Our only regret was not staying more than 3 nights. Peppers Beach Club is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, we definitely recommend and look forward to staying again!
From the moment we arrived a little early on our first day, we were treated awesome. Reception staff (Neil) was excellent and made us feel at home. We stayed in a Spa Deluxe Suite which walked onto the sandy beach lagoon pool. The room isn't massive, but big enough for our 3 nights. Bed (and pillows) were excellent, bathroom clean and tidy. No complaints at all. We did hire a car for the few days as we went and saw a lot of local attractions each day, but the location is right on! You can (as we did) stroll into the main street for dinner or shopping/browsing easily. The vibe at Peppers is very relaxing and we had no trouble getting poolside chairs or lounges, maybe low season had something to do with it. We had hardly any rain also. We were there with a group of friends and we all loved and would return for sure. Thanks to all.
Very relaxing, close to all shops, beaches and if you do not want to do any sight seeing it is a place you can relax by the pool enjoying cocktail, beautiful food or sitting on the verandah of your room.
Fantastic place to stay, beautiful setting fantastic staff and awesome food!! Just needed dark curtains...had a farmer and the room seemed light really early only issue. Other than that perfect highly recommend!!
Loved it, great location, great facilities, very luxurious and sophisticated. Loved the swim up bar and happy hour. The only criticism was that the pillows were too big/full which made for an uncomfortable sleep.
We got a great deal on our room probably because it was rainy season (we were there in late Feb), yet we managed to get in 4 days of beautiful sunshine. I have heard that, at the peak of tourist season, the pool is full of (rather noisy) children, but it was serene during our stay. We loved the zero entry from the sand side into the lagoon. The water temperature was sublime. There was no safe in the room but there was a mini fridge, teapot and coffeemaker. Free WiFi was limited.
Fantastic staff Fantastic resort Fantastic pool Fantastic location What can I say - FANTASTIC What a way to spend a week, there is not a negative thing I can think of. Also a short walk to the beach, which is patrolled. Lots to do & a whole lot of nothing if that is what you want for your holidays.
Everything about the hotel was amazing, the pool area, the staff, the clean, modern room, the breakfast options. It was beautiful. It’s a short walk from the beach and the town close enough to everything, port Douglas was so tranquil!
Nice small hotel with all the amenities you require for a short stay. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Rooms were nice and there was a nice size pool to swim in. The food in the Sublime restaurant was very good but the menu is limited. The location of the hotel is excellent. It was a five minute walk to 4 mile beach and around 10 mind to either the marina or the centre of Port Douglas. The picture of the hotel doesn’t do it justice as it was taken during a tropical downpour!
Good hotel & the pool is beautiful for all the family. We had a suite and the kitchen was fully equipped. Loved the Location of the Hotel which is a walking distance to Port Douglas shops and Restaurants. The staff is helpful and Courteous.
