Need to lift customer service. Communication is key. I feel that once they have your money you are forgotten. Great place to stay but seems to be slipping on standards. I will stay here again but there are certainly issues that need to be adressed
This was our second time at Peppers and it didn't disappoint. It's in a great location, both to the beach and the main strip in Port Douglas. The pool is absolutely divine, we spent many hours just lazing beside it. We will be back again soon!
We really enjoyed our stay, the suite was clean well laid out, lots of space, kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed, good big tv with plenty of channels, comfy bed and nice clean bathroom
Everything you could want from a resort. The resort beach/pool was absolutely beautiful. Perfect for families with young children. However, if you are a little older with bad knees check what floor you are on when booking. The 3 flights of stairs several times a day were a killer.
Loved our stay there. The room was amazing and Spa was excellent. It was the prefect distance from the main strip of Port Douglas and it felt like we were Bali with the resort feel hotel and perfect weather.
We had the adjoining suites for the family - one with SPA, the other with a private pool. in one word 'PERFECT'. For the 5 of us. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The daily housekeeping were considerate to our requests to come back at a later time. Tour desk were very knowledgeable about the available tours and suitability for the various ages in our group and provided some excellent recommendations. Our room was on ground floor and was close (but not too close) to the pool area and to the restaurant. Pool was immaculately presented and clean and perfect set up for the 3 generations of us using it. Pool side service was also very good. Close to beach, 5-10 minutes from the main shopping area.. Although it could be considered pricey by some, we did not think so given the suites and location. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
My partner and I stayed at Peppers for our anniversary. We booked through Mantra Rewards which was supposed to give us a welcome drink on arrival, free wifi and a late checkout of 12pm. None of this happened and we were hassled to check out early even after we advised them that we had the late checkout due to the rewards program. There is obviously no communication between the resort and Mantra Rewards which is disappointing as that was the main reason we stayed at the hotel. Nice rooms, and pools, however would expect more from the front desk especially being a 5 start resort.
This was our first visit to Port Douglas and Peppers did not disappoint at all. Overall the venue, proximity to beach and down as fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay a memorable one. We will definitely be back.
Peppers Beach Club was perfect! I could not fault this place at all. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the Spa Suite room was absolute magic and the overall atmosphere of the place was incredible. I would highly recommend anyone, whether you have kids or not, to stay at this gorgeous hotel!
Stayed at Peppers Beach hotel last week. Had a ground floor room that backed onto the pool with an access path, which was great! Staff were all lovely, especially Karl, their weekend regular. Rooms are very clean and have everything you could need for a very pleasant stay. Only downside was no unlimited free WiFi, a must these days. Lovely breakfasts, we had opted for bed and breakfast instead of room only which was a good idea, as eating out for some Brits can be a bit expensive, even for breakfast. Hotel is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants, about 7 mins.
