Welcome to The Railway Getaway, a one-of-a-kind vacation rental offering a unique blend of history and comfort. This fully renovated caboose features charming vintage touches that evoke the golden age of rail travel while providing modern amenities for a cozy and relaxing stay.

Step inside and be greeted by red velvet accents, original railway details, and plush furnishings designed for comfort. The caboose is equipped with a comfy queen-sized bed, a quaint sitting area, and a mini kitchenette perfect for preparing light meals. There are two loft-like areas in the middle of the caboose with big windows. Great for reading or gazing.

A few steps away, you'll find a beautifully designed private bathroom / laundry room in a separate building, offering modern fixtures and a spacious shower, maintaining the balance between rustic charm and contemporary convenience. Despite that, there is a tiny bathroom inside the caboose for your comfort. There is a beautiful deck on the side to enjoy the sunshine.

Fantastic stay. Just as described.

The caboose was adorable and clean. Perfect for 2. The shower and laundry in the depot building were easy to get to from the caboose. Bring slippers and a robe if visiting during cold months for the short walk. If visiting in summer, the morning light comes in very early with no shades in the upper windows, but the location is absolutely stunning and quick to get to Port Angeles and surrounding tourist sites. We had a wonderful time and would love to book the caboose again!

It's clear that care went into refurbishing the railcar. It's very comfortable to stay and fun to spend time in. The area is quiet and reasonably close to Olympic National Park entrances and other area attractions. Would recommend for anyone.

Surprisingly spacious

This property was wonderful. Yes, it’s a great novelty to stay in a caboose. But the interior design was beautiful, and surprisingly spacious. We would definitely stay again when we come back to the Olympics. The temperature was comfortable. Even in January winter. I do recommend bringing slippers.
