"Although an older property it was extremely clean and well maintained. The reception staff member was friendly, helpful and amenable. The motel unit had everything we needed for our stay. The only issues were lighting. The path from the unit to the car space meant going down steps which are not lit at night and dangerous. We could have gone all around the outside but we didn’t realise that until we left and the car park is still not lit. The other issue (for us) is the bedrooms are upstairs but the bathroom is downstairs. There is a light at the top of the stairs lighting the stairs which we left on so we weren’t trying to find the light switch in the dark (we are three older adults), unfortunately there is a gap at the top of the door to the main bedroom so light shone in. I suggest filling in that gap and proving adequate outside lighting then everything would be perfect."
