Le Chalet Suisse was a lovely place to stay! The room was clean and cozy, with comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. It’s also in a perfect location — just a short walk to town, shops, and restaurants. Friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere made the stay even better. Would definitely come back!

We had a street view room however really enjoyed our stay due to the location and close proximity to dining options. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable and was clean on arrival. Although we had a street view room and our room was next to the entrance driveway (Room 14) we still found the room quiet and blinds gave privacy. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again next time we visit Taupo.

The property and bathroom fixtures (toilet, shower) are quite old and worn-out. The location is good, so you forget quickly if it only one night and you find a nice place for breakfast around.

Very good property. Easy access to shopping and dining. Fresh looking rooms just a minor issue with a loose shower head that you couldn’t tighten and had to hold with shower head while showering. Reported to management on checkout.
