Red Lion Hotel Pocatello

Our room was dirty. Beds looked like they were just remade rather than having fresh sheets for the next guest. Toilet had poop stains said it had not been cleaned. We switched rooms and when we asked to the front desk was very rude about it...commenting that we had a discounted rate. I am in Pocatello often and will NOT stay there again. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told they were not available. I gave my cell number for them to call - no call.

Everyone treated us well and the room was nice. Our whole reason for coming was to take our kids swimming and the hot tub was broken and the pool was ice cold!! The pool is huge and the building is beautiful but hasn't been maintained well.

Room carpet had stains from years of use. There was no closet in the room. That was kind of annoying.

Carpets were dirty and ripped up in hallways and stairways. There was no elevator. The room had not been vacuumed. There was no hot water for showers. The furniture was pretty beat up. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable

Dirty room, over priced. $160 for a double Queen. No breakfast included.

Room is clean and comfort, wifi is fast. I would recommend it for my friends.

This hotel is in need of serious rehab. The carpets are all frayed and worn out. The pool is ice cold. The furniture is all scratched and worn. Breakfast is not included here and they even take the coffee pots away from the lobby. Forget about it.

By all appearances this is a nice hotel. The room was great upon check in. Stayed for a few days working in the area. Exterior temperature's mild in the region. Came back to my room after first day room was freezing cold thermostat set at 54° called front desk to ask that maids leave temp Settings alone. They told me the rooms needs to be moderated for guests comfort. I asked is such a low temp normal, she couldn't answer. I reminded her as long as I'm paying rent I control what's going on in that room. She disagreed with me. I checked out.

Upon arrival our room on the first floor was not ready, was there well after the check in time of 3:00 PM. So we was moved to an upstairs room. This was okay but preferred the first floor room, as my knees are bad and stairs are hard on it. Next the card coder for the room wasn't working at all for several minutes. Next the computer was being updated so could not enter our information. Could use another terminal and not update both at the same time. Ready to check customers in, sure didn't seem that way.Room was in order, bathroom floor was not clean as there were left over q-tips on the floor. Next I was asked if I wanted to buy breakfast as it does not come with the room price, that I got online. Really WTH?

other than the drug raid that went down while we were there we had a great stay

Needed a one night stay near the highway. Worked fine for access to roads, gas stations and restaurants,

Convenient location for a stop over, a drink and rest before continuing to Montana.

,We were so thrilled that the hotel turned out to be much nicer, more spacious and well maintained than we expected for a small town. I'm not really sure why we were expecting mediocrity but it surpassed our expectations.

Great service, arrived late, left early. Did not try breakfast.

Great hotel, very clean, nice room overlooking the pool, unfortunately restaurant and lounge were closed.

The hotel is old and dated. It was very clean. The beds rooms seemed old. Pool was fun but a little awkward cause there was some sort of convention that overlooked the pool area.

I arrived late to my room, the bed was comfy. Everything seemed clean. When I showered the next morning, I noticed a dirty, crusty hand towel draped over the shower curtain and a used bar of soap in the shower. That makes a person question if the sheets were even changed. I will avoid Red Lion for the rest of my life. The man at the front desk was not very sympathetic or helpful.

We flew out of Pocatello airport after a camping trip to Yellowstone and grand Tetons. Was a perfect way to end our trip, relaxing, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant served great food and drinks. Getting a shuttle to the airport was easy!

Everything was great, except i didn't have a frig or microwave. I think those things should be standard when you have to eat out while staying at a hotel. But that was minimal compared to the excellence of room appearance and staff professionalism and friendliness. Oh, the continental breakfast was excellent for the price of $4.95 - top notch!

We mostly appreciated the indoor patio area with jacuzzi and large swimming pool
