We stayed at this hotel for seven nights starting on the 13th September travelling in a group of four with Voyages Jules Verne. We were on a half-board rate. The food was superb with the menu changing each day with an ample choice of dishes. We were accomodated in a large and comfortable room which needed a little updating (additional electrical sockets, and N.B. shower is currently over bath). The hotel staff from front of house, to restaurant and room service were excellent. We would particularly like to mention Elvis and Kevin for their welcoming and attentive service in the restaurant,Yulvia (apologies if we have misspelt her name) on the desk, and to the hotel's Sommelier for his brilliant talk on wine tasting. It's also important to mention how friendly and helpful the hotel owner was by being available each evening in the restaurant and on other occasions. We had a friend who lives locally visit us one evening, and he was made to feel very welcome by the hotel - thank you. We would strongly recommend this hotel!
I was invited to supper with George and Elaine. I hadn't seen them for almost 20 years. It was great to meet in the comfort of the hotel. Supper was delightful. The owner came over and chatted and we were served by Elvis 🕺 and Kevin. The experience was enjoyable and the food very good. An additional joy was meeting a couple of other old friends. The two dummies which used to be in the men's corsetry shop nearby. I wondered what happened to them.
The room was clean and the staff were helpful. On the downside the buffet breakfast was disappointing , we actually ate elsewhere, the elevators were extremely slow and not that you need to be watching TV in Italy but there were no English channels.
good room on 1st floor, lifts a little small and dated. Good breakfast with good choice, average Dinner with little choice, noisy from bars across the road. would have been nice to eat outside on terrace.
We were delighted to stay at the hotel Tamerici .It had been recommended to us and everything that we had been told was in evidence. A really good room, excellent food and a really friendly, helpful staff. It is a family owned hotel and felt like that with a wonderful team to ensure that guests had a good stay. My wife had a birthday while we were there and we were presented with a delicious cake to help celebrate. We expect to return many times.
Eugino the owner manager is a class act and runs a great ship. We were so happy with our stay there and so well treated that on our way home we had little envelopes for the excellent waiters - Eugino appeared and asked for his envelope too. We told him he was far too rich to get an envelope. Eugino loves the craic. Later on he offered us an envelope but then decided we were also too rich to get the envelope! The man is a comedian. It's a great hotel and beautifully decorated in a classical style with paintings, tapestries, rugs etc. The staff give 100% , the waiters are so attentive and Francesco, Elvis and Manuel are fantastic. The reception staff are excellent and meet your every need. The advice is stay there if you're in Tuscany and the food is superb. I give it 1000 out of 1000. Lynch - Ireland
Beautiful spacious rooms, which are well appointed with all you need in this wonderful example of a family owned and run Italian hotel. The staff are attentive, polite and cheerful, reflecting the attention to detail from the charming owner and his wife Great location for a quiet base to explore both the town of Montecatini Terme and all the other main centres of attraction in the area, from Florence in the east through Pistoia, Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio and the Versilian coast. This hotel is a value for money must if you are visiting this part of Italy.
We have visited this beautiful property in July and were very impressed with the friendly and professional service and the stylish ambiance. The pool area is immaculate and very well maintained and it offers a great restaurant - overall all facilities were excellent.
This hotel is one of the Many Hotels located in the Popular Resort and Spa Town of Montecatini Terme in the Rustic Tuscany Region of Italy. It is roughly situated in the middle of the popular Tourist Centers of Pisa and Florence. The Hotel is located along the town center and is withing walking distance to a mall and to the Main Shopping Area which is a 5 minute walk. The hotel has five floors of which they have 140 rooms and suites of which we stayed here for 1 night before going to Nice the next day. A room here cost 180 Euros a night for a double bed room (internet rates are just 140 Euros) and 120 euros for a single room (85 euros for internet rate) and they are typical tuscan decorated burgundy red and peach colorwith wooden furnishings, a single or double bed standard room is small (typical of european standards) at 22 square meters plus a 4 square meter balcony(total of 26 square meters). Amenities here include The Grand Duchi Restaurant (of which the complimentary breakfast buffet is held) and the Grand Duchi Bar, located beside the Lobby, they also have a swimming pool, turkish bath, a spa, sauna, a tour desk for booking tours, fitness facilities and parking area (paid parking fo guests at 15 euros a night). This hotel is popular for big tour groups hence we were billeted here for 1 night The Rooms are small (at par with european standards) but they all have a balcony that faces outside at about 26 square meters in total (including balcony). The key is typical tuscan double lock heavy key so you need to give them back the key before checking out. room amenities include: Free Wifi Connection at all areas of the Hotel, Bathroom Toiletries (no toothbrush and toothpaste, which is a european standard), hair dryer, plasma tv with satellite channels, hair dryer, mini bar and a mini fridge, in room safe, complimentary breakfast buffet at Grand Duchi Restaurant from 6:30 am to 10:00 am. cons: no complimentary bottled water (a european standard), no ironing board, no universal sockets so bring your universal plug adaptor. Check In is 3:00 pm and check out is 12:00 pm
One of the best hotels we have had the privilege to stay, staff could do enough to help, fine dining and service to match, we were told to treat the hotel as our home and we were treated as a member of the family. The interior design is on the grand scale but so comfortable and relaxing which we loved, there was always someone on hand to get that nice cold drink or pot of tea in the afternoon! We loved the town and plenty of trips around Tuscany, we would give this hotel our highest recommendations and would love to return!
