We stayed here from Wednesday to Sunday. First of all, we were really impressed with the look of the building and how close it was to the beach. Our room was also a lot more than we were expecting with two kingsize beds and a patio area, the bathroom was also spacious and clean. There is a city tax and you must pay €7 per person per day to access the pool and beach which we paid. When we then went to the pool we were informed that we must wear swim caps which were for sale for €3 each. When on the beach we were asked to move because we had not paid for the front two rows of sun loungers. The building had its faults and the stairs in our room were very unsecured however we were comfortable during our stay.
I spent 4 nights in this resort on the coast with some friends and a group of teen agers. Due to the competitive price I thought I'd find a low range and chaotic place but, instead, what a surprise. Daniele the manager is very professional and take care of his guests with a lot of passion and it make easy to find a solution to the daily problems that can occur in a resort. The hall needs an urgent make up but in general the standard is coherent with an italian 3 stars. Breakfast is buffet based and if something is missing the staff replaces it very fast, food is various and in general of good quality. A lot of activities have taken place during my staying and teen agers were very happy of them, I and my friends spent the time time on the sunny and well equipped beach. I suggest this location to people who want to pay a right price for a right product and that don't look for lux or fashion hotels. I will come back again in September.
The hotel is well situated on the beach but far from any points of interest so there are but a few reasons to visit. The food was good enough but one can eat better in restaurants and the rooms are ok but there was no hot water and some pieces of furniture are falling apart, the beach closes down too soon and the staff, while nice, speak little to no English. Overall, I would not recommend.
Although personnel is quite nice, general quality of the place not more than a 1 or 2 star, if... Our apartment for 6 with drawers falling apart, 3 glasses and plates and no normal chairs to sit. Decent beds and air conditioning. Breakfast is not worth the try, and hot and stinky. Would not book any food, if you go here. Plenty of better restaurants anywhere, and cheap. Beach is nice, swimming pool is okay, although guy in charge likes to imply rules on foreigners only. Don't expect people to speak anything else than Italian, as someone told us: you're in Italy, so speak Italian.
we stayed in a big room , 2 double bed, just one day on the way to Pisa. weather was not so nice thats why we can not enjoy much, restaurant was not good, do not eat in the restausrant, parking was easy
Great place for rest and relax! Near the sea. The apartment where we were spacious and clean, with a large terrace overlooking the sea. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The proximity of Regina del Mare to Pisa, Florence and Livorno, make this place even more beautiful. We were charmed by our stay there as soon as possible will visit him again. Thanks to all staff!
Dear Team I travelled with my three children aged 15,14 and 8. There was no WIFI connection posible, not ever after asking many times at the reception for it. The answer was always the Same : " we know wie have this problem, but there US a lot of people online and the signal doesn't work" . this is a no go. If your browser is not strong enough then please don't offer this service. -4 persons but only 2 chairs -Hygienity was good -Beach completely beautiful
We visited the resort for a few days in October as a second honeymoon without the children. We were pleasantly surprise by the beach front location and the rooms, very spacious, even if a little odd. We were collected from the airport by a lovely man who took us in a whistle stop tour of what we needed to see, he was so lovely and truly passionate about that hidden secrets Pisa had to offer. Unfortunately that is where the positives stop, breakfast was dreadful and the reseraunt smelt very strongly of what I can only describe as urine. The hotel itself was miles out the way of everything, wouldn't ever recommend. The room wasn't turned over once during our stay there. I am so glad w did not travel with family, our children wouldn't have copped well with the hotel or the food.
I'm here till April 26 and Wow what a place. The room look like a small studio with a working kitchen but only during season months. The beach is private and the staff is great. I'm here with my pets and they are having a blast. This is mostly a family resorts and its worth the stay.
Stayed there on August for only one night with my family. it was a bit hard to find but once i arrived ( 3 hours later than i booked) 22hs i was very well welcomed. the front desk staff were so kind and helpful, they arranged a very nice apartment for us ( apartment number 3) with a fantastic view, apartment big and spacious. The breakfast was very good with nice fresh and good selection of cold food and juices. we checked out mid day, but they let us stay until 5pm on the swimming pool and on the beach using all hotel facilities until the time to go to Pisa Airport. I would recommend this hotel to everyone this is a very good hotel and i will return there one day to stay for more days.
