We are so excited about our cabin! Our family is not new to the area or to Sherwood Forest as we own another cabin in this very same community. You may wonder why build another cabin in the same community, the answer is simple, Sherwood Forest is the absolute most perfect vacation destination. We are located 1.5 miles from The Parkway which is the thoroughfare conveniently leading you to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Downtown Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and other Sevierville attractions. We are also only 4 miles from Dollywood!
Our cabin has the most amazing unobstructed views of Mt Leconte. So whether you are making breakfast in the kitchen, relaxing in the family room or rocking on the deck, you will have a breathtaking view of the best nature has to offer!
I'm sure you'd like to know a little bit about our cabin. Well, when you enter the cabin your eyes are instantly drawn to the wall of windows and view as well as the lofted ceiling in the kitchen and family room. The 2 story windows allow for ample natural light and a bright and airy atmosphere. Our kitchen has cherry cabinetry, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances along with all the essentials any chef would desire!
The family room is so comfy with a large corner fireplace, ample seating and a sofa sleeper. Also on the main floor you'll find bedroom #1 with a king sized bed and en suite bathroom. Additionally you'll find bedroom #2 on the main floor with another en suite bathroom.
If you travel upstairs from the main floor, you'll find a loft area with a pool table, futon and arcade game. Off of the loft you'll have access to bedroom #3 with another king sized bed, en suite bathroom and private balcony overlooking Mt. Laconte.
From the main level you can access the lower level where you'll find the media room with seating for 12 and comfy floor space for others to huddle together to watch movies! Next you'll find bedroom #4 with an en suite bathroom and access to another balcony where the hot tub is located. And the piece de resistance is the indoor heated pool. The pool has entrances from the hallway and the balcony and both doors have keypad entry for the safety of all guests.
Even though the cabin itself, with all of it's amenities, could keep you happy for a long while, you may actually want to venture out to see the town. Once you travel down the mountain, all of the attractions are at your finger tips including attractions such as Wonder Works, The Titanic Museum, Dollywood, Splash Country, MagiQuest, the Alpine Coaster, dinner theaters, comedy clubs, etc.
Maybe you are interested in spending time with nature, the Great Smoky Mountains are filled with trails and site seeing for guests of all ages. And if you visit in the winter, you may be interested in Ober Gatlinburg to ski and snowboard!

(We take great care in preparing our cabin for our guests arrival and the arrival of every guest after you! Our cleaning staff continues to disinfect every surface with lysol and bleach products assuring the destruction of any virus. These are the products the CDC has suggested we use to keep you safe. )

This was an amazing property. Everything was exactly as listed and the view was even better! The pool was even bigger than I expected and was perfect for our large group. The owner was very responsive with questions. Overall this was an excellent experience and would definitely recommend!

Beautiful view!

The view was beautiful! Even with neighbors on each side you felt like you were in the mountains with no neighbors! Fireplace was nice and easy to use. Kids loved the pool and hot tub was conveniently located outside of pool room. Host was very responsive and helpful! There were a few issues upon arrival that the host was unaware of and within an hour everything was fixed! Convenient location.

Overall good stay. Seen some bears right behind the cabin the first day, that was really cool. Cabin had some minor broken things but the family really enjoyed our stay especially the pool.

Outside furniture was very weathered and rickety. Only a few of the jets worked on the hot tub. The Christmas tree was up lights were not working so we ended up buying our own lights.Overall our stay was wonderful. If it were mine I would have a few personal touches for when guests arrive. Travel size shampoo and conditioner and a few coffee pods just to get you started.thanks

Great place and location

The cabin has an amazing pool and was nice and clean when we arrived. We truly enjoyed our stay. My kids loved the pool and it was a great place to make memories. The property manager was so nice and helpful. We only had one issue which was not their fault. The cover on the hot tub had blown off and some of the water had poured out, but the property manager was very responsive and sent someone to come fill it for us. OVE

Our family visited Pigeon Forge, for a wedding. We had booked with Kim two years prior and fell in love with the cabin, so when we had the opportunity to visit again we were thrilled to find that she had availability the week we needed. Kim is an amazing host and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We even left some items behind and Kim make sure we received the items left. This place or this host will not disappoint.

We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin. We had family with us of all ages (3-60) and everyone had a great time. The view is amazing and having the pool and hot tub for evening entertainment was a huge deal. We will definitely be back!!

Great views, great space, and great amenities.

Nice house with plenty of great view spots in the house; plenty of space to spread out; and games, indoor pool (really cool), decks and nooks to relax in. The location is reasonably convenient to area attractions, but the houses are situated close to each other, which detracts a bit from privacy. The only minor negative was that the house was beginning to show its age, and perhaps more wear and tear than I would have expected. A little extra attention would take care of those items pretty easily. Overall we had a very nice week there, and the host was very nice. We would rent from this host again.

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin over looking the mountains. Plenty of room for 2 families, with 6 boys ranging in age from 7 to 19. The pool and hot tub were a big hit for downtime between activites in PF and Gatlinburg.

Nice family vacation cabin

The cabin is awesome, clean and spacious. The hot tub and pool were very nice. The pool is only about 3 ft deep, but the kids loved it. I would advise bringing your own cookware if you plan on cooking, as the pots there were in bad shape. The grill was also not usable without some major cleaning, which we did not do. Other than that, we have no complaints. The host was wonderful and checked in with us during our stay to make sure we didnt need anything or have any questions. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

A wonderful and enjoyable home

This home was amazing. Perfect for a family or large group. The house was clean and fully furnished. The covered decks had amazing views that were unobstructed. The views were amazing. The bedrooms were spacious and had their own full bath. The game and movie room were a bonus. The indoor heated pool was the highlight of the trip. Along with the hot tub, these were great features. There was privacy from neighbors. Pigeon Forge was a great place to visit; it was not crowded. We went to the Old Mill District, Rocky Top Mountain Coaster and the Mountain Mist Farm Winery. There was a lot to do. Would highly recommended host and house. We had a great time.

At first glace it seemed great, great view, log cabin style. Quickly we realized how unkept the house is. 2 dangling and flashing red smoke detectors, return air grille in the pool room was off, sharp rusty nail in pool, no fitted sheets, no pool chemicals so by day 3 the pool room smelled like rotten fish, hot tub cover was so old and busted you could barely cover it, multiple drains didn't drain, pool table pockets had holes in them that the balls would just fall out, pubic hair on the wall in bathroom, chairs and table were wobbly and busted, tvs missing remotes and hardly worked, and more! We brought the majority of this up to the owner and she did not even apologize. It is not a safe place to stay at all.

Family vacation

Beautiful views. Cabin was roomy and beautiful. The only trouble we had was we could not get the tv to work in the main living area. The remote was not communicating with the TV. And we could not find a remote for the TV in the bunk room. Overall though our experience was great. We will definitely love to come back. We did not want to leave this morning.
