All was perfect. The room was great, clean and with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom was big and very clean. Great breakfast with huge variety. Nice outdoor space and gorgeous Spa, hmmmm the spa wowww :-) The personnel was very kind and very professional Thanks Siripanna

My stay here wasn't long enough (just a couple of days) to write a decent review,. The girls at the receptions where very friendly, they checked me in smoothly and in no time. There are three buildings, all lined up behind each other towards the beach. My room (Std Serenity) was in the second building, third floor. Everything you need is there... All the toiletries, good A/C (not too loud) and a very comfortable bed. Mind you, the walls are thin... I had to call the reception twice because of excessive loud neighbours. And while this has nothing to do with the hotel it would have been better if the walls where more soundproof. I also had to wait for quite a long time for housekeeping to clean up the room. This is probably due to the low season and fewer staff. A good and complete breakfast was served beside the swimming pool and near the beach in an open air restaurant. Prices for drinks where very moderate, sadly I didn't try the restaurant. The WiFi I didn't like... The speed was slow but one needs to connect every device with a different username and password plus you need to register every device again and again... This is not a very user friendly system... Will I go back? Yes sure, next month :)

I spent around two weeks here and the apartments are nice with full kitchen, nice living areas and bedroom, and large balcony/terrace. For long-term stay this is good spot near Rawai and Chalong because the Villa Market in Chalong is quite close and you can find everything you require there to prepare your meals. From the supermarkets you cannot buy alcohol before 5pm, so if you want beer or something else, go to the shop after 5pm. Opposite Serenity is a Minimart store that will sell alcohol all day long plus other snacks. Also opposite the road are motorbike rentals and massages.

Beautiful hotel / apartments! We had the top floor at the back of the complex but the room was huge and comfortable. Pool and bar area was lovely and the view overlooking the islands was stunning. Only thing was it was a little further than walking distance to restaurants etc on the street side. But taxis are located next to the hotel so it was still super easy to travel around.

On the 4th floor, I had a rooftop pool. Fantastic being able to take a quick swim in the warm waters, with an incredible view of the bay and islands. The room was big and comfortable. The breakfast fine though the service was dressed in dirty aprons.

I have stayed in the hotel for 4 Nights, the room was very clean and modern. As I had troubles with my credit card at the ATM the staff helped me, thank you very much! The pool is very nice, as I did Yoga at Atmanjai, I can't say anything about the F&B or other services.

We had a fantastic stay at this great hotel. From the minute we arrived till we left the staff were exceptionally friendly and pleasant. Well worth it.... Would definitely recommend this spot. The room was great and exceptionally clean.

From arrival using their optional airport car to check in and the rooms we have been impressed with everything this resort offers. Spacious modern suites and a superb private pool area. All staff welcoming and helpful the East 88 restaurant and bar serves wondefull food in generous portions at very fair prices well done to all at this resort , an ideal chill out zone!

We have recently arrived at serenity and it is fantastic! I rarely write reviews (only when I believe a place truly deserves it!) but I think this place is very deserving! We have stayed in various hotels in Thailand and Phuket and this is one of the nicest, if not the nicest! The hotel is right on the beach, with a beautiful pool area. The views across the bay are spectacular and although the tide goes out it is not a problem! The hotel is set on a hill side but there is car access to each block and a golf cart to take you and your bags. We had a slight issue on the second night with the room and after a bit of discussion the hotel staff kindly gave us a new room (suite/villa) with an upgrade. The suite is absolutely amazing, the space and quality to such a high standard . As a result of how happy we are with the hotel we have decided to extend our stay as long as there is availability (fingers crossed). The hotel is positioned next to the main road so easy access to amenities such as shops and restaurants but the road is not an issue and cannot be heard! The breakfast is brilliant with a pancake making machine producing freshly made pancakes at the push of a button. Overall a lovely hotel with great views and very good value for money!

We felt so well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Didn't even have to introduce ourselves; staff had already familiarised our names even before we got there! Delicious ginger tea served at the reception and 5 minutes later we were whisked away in a golf cart to our room. Room was spacious, spotless and very well laid out. However, we found the bed and pillows quite hard for our preference. A quick call to reception, and they turned the bed into a magical soft haven and brought us large feather pillows. We had an amazing sleep all throughout our stay after that. Staff even checked up on us the next morning to ask if the bed was better and if we had a good night's sleep. The pool area is amazing, gardens are well taken care of and the entire resort really brings you back to nature. You'll find tiny crabs crawling on the restaurant deck floor, a few cats owned by the hotel roaming about the gardens and we even saw a monkey. Truly is serenity at its best. There really isn't much of a beach by the resort; the tide recedes every evening and rises back up in the morning. But the hotel has a shuttle to Nai Harn Beach every alternate day which is a definite MUST DO. Unbelievably gorgeous white sands and turquoise waters, super clean beach with huge waves (great for surfing) or even just to laze about your day lying on the beach. Breakfast served at the restaurant was delicious, filling and lots of healthy choices which was great. There was even a station where you could make your own fresh watermelon juice. Fruits choices were different every morning and the coffee was excellent! The food at the restaurant on the premises is definitely on the expensive side (to be expected considering the class of the hotel) but we had two very different experiences eating there. The first night when we arrived, we had dinner there and both our dishes were quite disappointing to be very honest. I had the Tom Yam which the waiter informed me will be spicy and being from Malaysia, we are very used to having Thai food. I was expecting the gastronomical authentic spicy Thai soup that Thailand is so very famous for but what I received was a soup that was very watered down, and quite disappointing in all honesty. The fish my boyfriend ordered was dry and overcooked and had too little of the chilly sauce to complement it making the dish quite unpalatable. That being said, we decided to give them another chance and ate there on our last night. This time the food was excellent and a complete contrast to our first meal (we didn't order anything spicy). Not quite sure what the issue was but my guess is that the spicy food was toned down to cater to more of the Western crowd at the hotel. Staff at the restaurant and bar are great though and remembered all of our drink selections throughout our stay. Drinks were very reasonably priced and there's happy hour at the bar every evening with all drinks going at 50% off. We ate mostly in the restaurant at their sister resort next door (Friendship Beach Resort) which had a much larger food offering at cheaper prices and the Thai food served here was definitely more authentic. Lots of vegan, vegetarian and raw dishes served here too so you wouldn't have any problems if you have certain dietary preferences. The hotel itself has stopped their spa services (had a wonderful massage on their rooftop deck facing the beach back in 2014) but onsite at their sister resort next door, is the Atmanjai Spa where we had wonderful back massages and was fantastic value for money. Make sure to book an appointment at least a day in advance as they're always booked up pretty quickly. I would like to address the previous reviewer that mentioned the hotel is in a very isolated location. I think to say that the hotel is isolated isn't very fair; there was a very famous coffee cafe right next door, a bar, 7-eleven and multiple pharmacies, massage parlours, hairdressers and scooter rentals right across the street. A 5 minute walk away there was a fantastic Mexican restaurant called Sala Mexicana which served very authentic Mexican food. The place is also has a reputation as one of the best Mexican restaurants in Phuket. We had dinner there one night and it was nothing short of wonderful. I think the location was perfect and you don't come to a resort called "Serenity" and expect to be in the middle of all the action. Haha. And even if you do want a slice of the action, the hotel has a shuttle to Patong every alternate day so there's really nothing I can find to complain about. All in all, fantastic stay if you're looking for some good ol' rest and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of central Phuket.
