If you are looking for a peaceful, family-friendly resort with a quiet beach, do not stay here. This property engages in misleading advertising across booking platforms. The rooms featured online—spacious layouts, beach views, private balconies, and pools—represent a small minority of the inventory (at most 20%). Most rooms, including ours, are at the back of the property and are dark, dated, and poorly designed, with balconies facing directly into other rooms. This is nothing like what is advertised. Despite being marketed as a resort, this property caters to party-focused singles and young couples, not families. Loud party music starts as early as 7:30 a.m. and continues all day, making rest impossible. Food and service were unimpressive, but the most concerning issue was hygiene and safety. One day, dirty, muddy water came from our taps. With no phone in the room, we went to the front desk, only to have our complaint dismissed and be told to contact a WhatsApp number instead—unacceptable for a hotel charging resort-level prices. The cost of our family room was wildly disproportionate to the experience. There is no true resort atmosphere: the front desk is chaotic, facilities are minimal, and service is disorganized. The previous night we stayed at Kamala Beach, paid 30% less, and received exceptional service and beachfront accommodations—highlighting just how poor the value here is. This stay was deeply disappointing and misleading. For a peaceful time, stay elsewhere.

The hotel is under renovation but they don’t disclose it and charge full prices. From early morning to late night you only hear hummers! Also everything is in poor condition and need maintenance. The location is far from everything so basically if you don’t have a car you are stuck in the hotel with all the noise.

Selina is a well thought out concept, catering equally to anyone seeking a quality holiday and digital nomads looking to connect with others. Facilities and food are of excellent quality, the breakfast range is abundant, and the bar staff do not water down their cocktails! Lovely service and a wonderful onsite spa. What more could you ask for? I only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

The property was beautiful and unique because they had activities going on in the villa every day. Definitely perfect for solo travelers. The restaurant on the property gave me food poisoning after eating a raw burger from there. Also took like 30 min to get our drinks the first time. We were done with our food before we got our drinks. We did give it a second chance and they had some better options though. I do recommend staying here traffic in the area isn’t bad, lots of beaches and places to eat in driving distance.

Fabulous Stay in this Beachside Hotel in Rawai

Very comfortable rooms albeit a little small given that the terrace is the same size. Due to the abundance of mosquitoes because of the season, unfortunately, we were unable to make any use of the terrace. There is a small fridge in the room as this wasn't mentioned in the room description. One small criticism is that we needed to ask for our towels to be changed but once we did so they were changed frequently. All in all the hotel was clean, comfortable with friendly, professional staff. The hotel pool area is in a fantastic beach side location with activities on at various times of the day should you wish to partake. There are a few good local Thai restaurants only 5 minutes walk away on either side of the road and also a great coffee bar 2 minutes away. The main part of Rawai with a huge variety of Thai and non Thai eateries and Nai Harn is about 10 minutes away in a taxi or Bolt. So, great location too

Wonderful oceanfront view and amazing pool . Like the free cabanas and latge floating mattresses use in the pool. Need to have electronic mosquito killing machines to get rid of the many mosquitos there. The activities are fun and welcoming . They should play popular 70 s to 90s music at the pool rather than the peaceful elevator music . Also turning up the music would be preferable.
